Heartache - Healing part 5

         I had woken up before everyone and sat outside on a chair. I had a little lamp to help me see, it was pretty bright. I was looking out into the distance at the forest. Lovely looking forest when you're not in it, to be honest. I look up at the sky that was still decently dark, the sun was still rising. I lean back in my chair with a relaxed sigh. Me being separated from Atsumu while we're asleep has given me some alone time in the mornings now.

             I remember back in the past I would practically beg for every second to be with him. But now, we're just fine being apart. I look back down at my ring. "Maybe it's the ring," I say out loud expecting no one to hear me anyway. The fact that we're married makes me not worry about being separated from him. The ring shows that he'll be with me till death do us part.

         I close my eyes feeling the sweet breeze hit my skin. I heard a car approaching which caught me off guard. I open my eyes and see a car I've never seen before. I saw a familiar person get out of the car, I was shocked. It was the girl Atsumu was talking to from the diner, she hasn't changed one bit.

           She approached me and I could feel myself getting more and more anxious. Is she mad? She didn't look mad as she approached me, how did she know where this was? "Hey, I've been trying to get your attention, you there!?" She waved in my face snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh?" I say and she shakes her head. "I'm looking for someone, I know it's early but I need to see him."
She said and I raise an eyebrow. She's looking for Atsumu this early?

Just when I was about to say something the front door opened. I turn to see Azumane closing the door behind him. He looked at me and at her with a nervous smile. "Hey..." he said and my jaw drops. "There you are, now are we going out as you promised?" The chick says and he nods with a smile. "Come on then, let's go." She said grabbing onto his hand and pulling him to her car.

I watched as they drive off into the distance, I was at a loss for words. That must've been the girl Noya was denied for. I shake my head and try to just forget about it, it was pointless thinking about it. I sigh softly as the cold breeze started to pick up. I could feel a satisfying chill run down my back.

After a few more minutes of me sitting there, the door opened revealing Iwaizumi. We both paused and looked at each other surprised. "So... what's got you up this early...?" Iwaizumi spoke first and I laugh. "I just wanted to enjoy outside before sunrise, maybe watch it too," I say and he smiles at me. "That's nice, I was just about to go for a morning run. Would you like to join me? You might find a better angle of the sunrise." He asked and I mentally gulp.

I nod my head and he smiles at me motioning for me to follow him. I get up and we started jogging, we kept a decently fast pace to make sure we got going. It felt great, I'm surprised he could see where he's going. I'm following his very visible shirt in the darkness. I could feel my anxiety building up being surrounded by such darkness. The sounds of the waking birds finally rang through my ears.

After a few we finally stopped on top of a hill, he sat on the grass looking off at the distance. I sit next to him looking as well realizing that this is the possible spot he was talking about. He tapped my shoulder and I turned to him. "Here, I'm used to this so take mine." He said holding a water bottle out for me. I smile and take it from him saying a soft thanks.

I take a drink of the water feeling a lot better after getting some water in my system. "Yknow, Oikawa hurt your friend's feelings yesterday.." Iwaizumi says and I look at him in confusion. "I don't know... small talk is hard. Plus I thought you should know, I know he must mean a lot to you if he's here so..." Iwaizumi just stopped talking after looking at my confused face.
