Chapter 62

Chapter 62 

ALICIA’S POV:


“She’s driving me nuts! She told me a sentence in Swedish, but she refuse to let me know what it means!” Bill complained when we reached his mother’s house again. 

“I should have one advantage, huh?” I said and joined the guys on the couch. Simone wasn’t home yet but she would be there in a short while with the surprise for Bill and me.

“Okay, we should too, then! Das Wetter ist so schön! Ich frag mich wann Mutter kommt… Lach jetzt!”

The boy started laughing and I sat there as an idiot. Didn’t understand anything that the boys were laughing about, but I guessed me. 

“Now! That’s not fair!” I got up and walked out to the backyard to sit down in the sofa. I wasn’t mad, but I couldn’t help to think if it was about me. 

I heard the door opened and turned around expecting to see Bill. But to my surprise it was Tom. He joined me on the couch. 

“You know Bill was just making fun, right?”

“Of me?” I asked quickly. 

“No! He was joking! He wondered when mom was coming home and he said that the weather was nice! He even told us to laugh!”

I couldn’t help but laugh. 

“And now you are betraying him by telling me this?”

“I guess I am” he smiled. 

“Well, now while you are betraying him, can you tell me something?”

“What?”

“Bill… has he said something about… the whole baby thing?”

“Of course he has! We talk about everything!”

“Well, what has he said then?”

Tom fidgeted and looked at me. 

“He has said that he is looking forward to it! He will be a great father; I know it from deep inside! He is nervous, though… but who wouldn’t be?”

“Yeah…”

“Are you afraid, Alicia?”

I looked him into the eyes. I had never seen him like this before, in fact this was the first time I ever spoken to him like this. Like I got to know the real Tom Kaulitz. 

“Yes… I am”

I felt his hand on my shoulder and then a tear ran down my cheek. I didn’t know why, but I felt sore and happy. I guess it was the hormones again. When all this was over I was going to miss blaming everything on the hormones. Tom leaned forward and dried away the tear. 

“Everything will be fine! You guys will be the best parents ever”

“Oh, great” I giggled. “Now you’re making me cry even more” I dried away some more tears that were running down my cheeks. 

“Tom, can you help me with something?”


When Tom and I got in Simone and Gordon just got home. She told him to start up the grill and I was very happy to hear that since I was dying for some food. 

“Bill, Alicia, we got a surprise for you!”

“I know… We’ve been waiting for it all day”

“It took some time, I know! But I think you will like it!”

Bill stood up. 

“Well, where is it?”

“It’s in the car… It’s kind of big!”

I looked over at Bill and I could see his eyes lit up. Like a little child who just found out that they were going to Disneyland on his 10th birthday. I couldn’t help but smile. 

“Really? Show us then!”

We got out to the driveway where the SUV stood parked. Simone opened the trunk and there was a big cardboard that took up the most of the car. 

“Now, what is this?” Bill asked and I looked over at Simone, who walked over to the passenger seat and took out a piece of paper. It was a picture of a crib. It was white with a silver star on it and on the picture there was a changing table and a wardrobe that was in the same series. It was really beautiful. 

“Oh, my God!” I gasped. “It’s beautiful!”

“It’s kind of familiar with the ones Bill and Tom had when they were little! I thought it seemed appropriate!” 

I gave her a hug and a thank you and watched Bill stare at the big package. 

“Bill?” I said and touched his arm. 

“It’s beautiful, mom! Thank you!”

They hugged and we walked into the house again. The rest of the guys were in the back and they were all curios what the surprise was and Bill let them know. 


The rest of the night was all about bonding. It really felt like I was a part of this family now and I couldn’t be more happy about it. Simone, she was so awesome. Easiest the greatest mom I ever met. 

She was funny, sympathetic, ambitious, thoughtful, determined, generous, and energetic. I could clearly see what Bill and Tom got their good sides from. 

“Well, I don’t want to snoop, but I don’t know anything about your family, could you tell us anything?” 

I wasn’t exactly comfortable talking about my family, but I didn’t want to give Simone a bad image of myself so I answered her with a smile on my lips. 

“Hah, sure… it’s not much to know… My mom and dad live in Gothenburg. I have two brothers and three sisters…”

“Oh, you come from a big family”

“Yes” I smiled. 

I nearly never talked about them. In fact, even Bill didn’t know that much. He knew this was uncomfortable to me so he stepped in. 

“We probably should get going! See you tomorrow!”

I got up on my feet and then I felt how tired I really was.  We thanked for the amazing surprise and got out to the car. 

“What were you and Tom talking about on the porch?” he asked me when we had gone for a few minutes under silence. 

“Umm… Just stuff” I didn’t want to reveal what Tom had told me even though I was sure of the Bill wasn’t going to be mad, but it was kind of nice to have this with Tom. 

“Okay…”

I turned around and looked at him from the side. He was so beautiful. The way he bit clenched his jaws when he was driving, like he was really focused on the road. It was kind of hot. 

“What is it?” he asked without looking at me and I sat my eyes on the road. 

“Nothing…”

“Oh, really? Why are you staring at me then?” he said and looked at me for a moment. 
Okay, here it goes for nothing, I told myself and took a deep breath. 

“Du bist das Beste, was mir je passiert ist! Ich bin so glücklich, dich in meinem Leben zu haben! Ich werde dich und unseren Sohn für immer liebe”

He stared at me and in a few seconds i saw a smile on his lips. He continued to stare at me and
I told him to look at the road before he got us all killed. 

“You are the most amazing human being on this earth!” he reached out for my hand and entwined them together. “I love you, Alicia!”
