Chapter 1

"He's got it all, some diamond rings.

A fancy car, just everything

But he's alone, he's so alone
"

I couldn't help to stare at my hands for a moment. On my left hand I had a, kind of awesome, skeleton tattoo. On four of my fingers I had "0630" written, which was the time I was born. My twin brother, Tom - who was born ten minutes before me - had "0620" on his fingers. He always bragged about that he was the older brother.

Anyway, back to reality. I was looking at my hands, and they were surrounded by jewelries, with one and another diamond ring.

"Diamond rings"

In the pocket of my ripped demin jeans I felt the keys to the brand new Audi that I bought last weekend.

"A fancy car"

Lisa Wohlgemuth, one of the finalist in DSDS - Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar, was singing the song that Dieter Bohlen had wrote for her, "Heartbreaker" She was now standing just a few feet away from me and for a couple of seconds I got eye contact with her.

"But he can't find a real good love for his heart"

I closed my eyes and listened to the words that came out from her mouth. It was a really good song, and Lisa had a great voice, even though I liked Beatrice Egli, the other finalist, better.
I couldn't help to feel a connection with the song, at least with the first verse. I almost recognize myself in her words.

I was a big believer to the powerful word, Love. But I had never experienced it.
Leastwise, true love.

The couple of times I brought a girl home, hoping to fall in love with her, it always ended up in disaster. I never felt that I could spend the rest of my life with that girl, so I let her go.
One time, I met a girl named Isabella, on one of our tours and she was a lot of fun. We hanged out together continuously for three days before we had to go on with our tour. Isabella and I kept in touch almost a month, but then I found out that she was engaged, and I ended it. Not that I counted it like a relationship.

Another time, Tom brought home a girl that had a friend with her. We started talking, and I really began to enjoy her company. The morning after she was gone when I woke up, and the next she had written a post on twitter that "she had been fucked her brain out, by no one else than Bill Kaulitz" I didn't care for it that much, cause I never met her again.

I guess I have a little bit hard trusting people because of who I am, the singer in the German rock band Tokio Hotel. I, my twin brother Tom, and our friends, Georg and Gustav founded the band 2003 and we had become very successful. In the beginning, none of us could ever imagine that we would go this far.

We have done four albums, a couple of awesome tours and met so many amazing people. I'm thrilled about the life I'm living and the adventures I had experienced.
Now we havn't released an album for almost three years, even though we were working on it.
But it was hard. We are not the people we used to be.

I woke up in my, so called, dreams by the applause from the audience. I guess I had been daydreaming for the past hour. How I had managed to respond the questions, and gave comments about the finalist's performance, I really had no idea. But now people were cheering their hearts out and I looked up on stage.

I guess my favorite, Beatrice Egli, had won.
