“Bill, where’s Alicia? She’s not here?”
“Nope”
“Where is she?”
“Probably at home”
“Why?”
“Because she went home yesterday?”
I walked over to the kitchen counter and pulled out a bowl from the cabinet and took out a spoon from the drawer.
“I thought she was staying? Why did she go home?”
“Georg! Stop asking so many questions…” I said and took out the milk and cereal.
Tom walked into the kitchen and took out the milk from my hands. We both sat down next to Georg at the kitchen island. A few minutes went by under complete silence.
“So… was she?”
“Was she what?” Georg asked in my place, since he was asking me.
“Was Alicia pregnant?”
“Wait, what?!”
I sighed.
“Yes, she was… she is! And she think it is mine!”
“What!?” the both of them said.
“Yes, but she doesn’t want me anything to do with it, so there’s nothing I can do”
I stood up and put away the dishes in the dishwasher before I went in to my room to get a shower. David had texted us earlier in the morning to let us know he wanted to see us.
“What are you going to do, Bill?” Tom asked me as we were waiting for David to show up.
“Nothing, it’s nothing I can do”
I was amazed how I handle the situation. It had come as a BIG surprise to me that she was pregnant, but if she didn’t want me in her life, there was nothing I could do about it.
“But…”
“No, Tom. She don’t want me in her life, and I have to accept that”
He was about to say something, but went quiet.
David showed up a few minutes later.
“Guys! I have a surprise for you?”
“Oh, great…” I said sarcastic.
David gave me a confused look; he didn’t know what I had gone through the last weeks.
Tom cleared his throat.
“So, David! What’s the surprise?”
“The album is finished soon, right?” Both Tom and I nodded our heads. “You guys will do a tour after that”
“Okay, but we kind of figured that out, already” Tom said.
“Yes, but the tour will last for six months”
Tom and I exchanged a look.
“Okay” we both said.
“Let the G’s know! It’s kind of hard to reach them… at least our lovely drummer!”
“Well, he’s in love. Let him be it” I sighed and stood up. “We will tell them, and I think the album will be finished in like a few weeks!”
“Good” David said short and me and my brother walked out of the office.
We needed to get some dinner before we got home so we stopped by at Subway.
“You know Gustav is going to kill us because he wants ‘real food’, right?”
“Yeah, that’s the fun part!” I smiled at my big brother.
