Chapter 2

"They were so cute, when they sang Hilf mir Fliegen and Durch den Monsun" I said to my brother when we walked out the building.

"Yes, they were..."

"You seem tensed up, are everything okay?" I asked as we got into the car.

Tom only nodded his head and drove off.

When we got to our house he blamed on that he was tired and closed his bedroom door behind him. I couldn't blame him; the clock was almost three in the morning. The after party had been a lot of fun and we had met some awesome people. I had spent much of time with the winner, Beatrice. She was an amazing girl and totally worth it.
I followed Tom's example and walked to bed.

I woke up by a bright light. The sun was shining straight into my windows, but I couldn't get out of bed to pull down the blinds. I was too tired. I took my phone to see how much the clock was. 15.39. That meant that I was going to get up anyway. I put some sweatpants on and an old band t-shirt with Green Day before I walked down the stairs, founding Tom and Maria in the living room in front of the TV.

"Morgen" I said as I went into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast, even though it was almost four in the afternoon.

I had to say that I was a little jealous of what Tom had with Maria. They seemed so happy.
It has always been just me and Tom, Tom and me, but not anymore. It was kind of sad.

I brought my cereals and joined them on the couch.

"Do we really have to watch this?" Tom sighed.

"Yes, stop whining!"

Tom sighed once again and got up on his feet and walked over to the backyard door, where he went out and lighted a cigarette. I watched him for a moment before I turned my eyes to the TV. A girl with curly blond hair was on the screen and it looked like she was interviewed. She had those amazing green eyes that I fell into.

"Giving your heart to someone, that's the scary part!" The girl said and I felt like she was talking to me. I felt just the same. Even though I was a big believer of love I was at the same time scared to open up and share myself with a girl. The only one who knew exactly everything about me was Tom. Well, Georg and Gustav knew a lot, but it wasn't the same.

"What is this?" I asked Maria and she looked at me like I was stupid.

"One Tree Hill, you've never seen it before?" she answered without taking her eyes of the TV.

I shook my head and walked out to my twin brother.

"Are you alright?" I asked as I took one cigarette out of his packet.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Tom looked at me for a second before he went inside again. He didn't even wait to see what I answered.

I shrugged my shoulders and sighed. What was it with my brother?

I didn't like when he was like this, because how much he said "it's nothing, I'm fine" I knew he was lying. It would always come out in the end, but he would spare us both some time if he said what the matter was from the beginning.

Today, or tonight we were going to be working on our new album in the studio and six o'clock we met up with the G's.
We all gave each other hugs and went into the studio.

"I have a good feeling about this night," I said as I put the headphones on.

"You always say that, Bill" Tom sighed and lifted up his guitar.

"But this time I mean it!"

"You always say that too"
