ALICIA’S POV:
FLASHBACK:
I heard a loud noise and I looked up. There he was. He was wearing an orange jumpsuit.
“Thanks for coming!” he said as he sat down at the other side of the table.
“What did you want?”
“I wanted to see you… And I guess you wanted to see me too…”
“You really think I come here to see you?” I scoffed.
“Why else did you come?”
“To get an end of it!”
“Of what?”
“YOU! The nightmares that bugs me every single fucking night! Every time I open my eyes, I see you… trying to get on me! It’s the end of it now!”
“I have always loved you!”
“Too bad! Because I regret that I ever met you! I regret that you came into my life and that I spent two damn years on you before we got married, the stupidest thing I ever done, by the way! I hate that I didn’t saw your true colors until we got married!”
“I’m your husband! We are still married!”
“Are you clearly stupid? The divorce has gone through! It’s complete!”
“But you are still caring my child!”
“No, I’m not!” I hesitated for a short moment. “We did a paternity test! It’s not your baby!”
I met his eyes.
He looked really hurt and he had tears in his eyes.
“Whore! He yelled and got up on his feet really quickly, but the guard came in and grabbed him before he could get any closer.
I had, by reflex, got up on my feet and was now walking backwards.
“Good bye, Zack”
And I turned around grabbed the handle of the door.
“HE IS GOING TO LEAVE YOU, YOU BITCH! BUT THEN I WONT BE HERE FOR YOU!”
I opened the door and walked out.
PRESENT:
Bill looked at me and I could see his thorax moving with his deep breathes.
I stared at him.
“WHO THE FUCK IS YOU TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT, HUH!? I HAVE TO BE FUCKING STUPID, BECAUSE IM STAYING WITH YOU!”
“WELL, WHY DID YOU MEET HIM THEN!?”
“BECAUSE I WANTED AN END OF THIS, ALRIGHT!? I WANTED THE FUCKING NIGHTMARES TO STOP, YES, I HAVE NIGHTMARE, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT I HAVE HAD NIGHTMARES ABOUT HIM, EVEN THOUGHT I DIDN’T TELL YOU EVERY TIME! I JUST WANTED IT TO STOP!” I screamed and my eyes got filled by my tears and he stared at me like he couldn’t believe his eyes. I bet he couldn’t either.
“Alicia…” he started.
I wasn’t going to stay there and listen to his excuse. I walked over to the door and opened it. But Bill closed it for me and pulled me into his arms.
“Bill, let go of me!”
“No… I’m sorry”
“Let me go, I’m too mad on you to even look at you right now”
“Close your eyes, then!”
