Frontierland: Part Three

Your dad made his way back to his house while leaving you back in the city to do some personal shopping for yourself. You still have a lot of money left over, so you're not going to spend it on a lot of things. Maybe you'll get some lunch and treat yourself to a new outfit or something, but that's about it. You want to give your dad the space and time that he needs, so you're going to try and stretch this afternoon date you have with yourself as much as you can.

It's nice to be on your own, to walk around without the Winchesters up your ass for every little thing you do. there is nothing supernatural going on in this town, so for right now you're not a witch... you're just a pregnant woman minding her own business. It's nice to see what life is like when you're not worrying about saving someone's life or stressing about Eve and her monsters.

The very first thing you do as a normal pregnant woman is get something to munch on while you take a stroll. You end up ordering an iced tea with a soft pretzel at a local cafe. The bread is soft and chewy just how you like it, and the tea is sweetened at just the right amount. People notice you as you walk, but you don't pay attention to any of them as you move on with your life.

The second thing you do as a normal pregnant woman is see if you can't find more comfortable clothing than the ones you've got. If you're being honest, you've been using Sam and Dean's clothes since they fit around your stomach a lot better than yours. All your clothes are from before you were pregnant. The only thing you have that can be kind of counted as maternity clothes are your stretchy leggings, and that's literally what you've been wearing this entire time. Sam and Dean's shirts fit well over your pregnant belly, so you've been using theirs.

It's time you get normal maternity clothes. There is a retail store just a few doors down from where you are, so that is where you head next. Maybe you might get something new for Sam and Dean as well as your dad. It's been a while since they got something new, so you figure it can't hurt to get them something now.

Picking out the maternity clothes is easier said than done. Not only do you need to make sure they fit, but you have all this money now so all you want is to buy it all. There is no way you can carry a lot of bags without some kind of help, and you can't use your magic where everyone can see, so you just have to try and settle for only a little. There are really cute clothes here, and in addition to the maternity stuff, you opted to get some new bras and underwear. Screw trying to look sexy at this point—all you're hoping for is a little comfort these last couple months.

You managed to get only a few things, knowing you can drag one of the Winchesters along with you next time to get some more stuff (maybe both of them). You leave the store with a few bags in each hand, happy that you got something to wear. There are some things for Sam, Dean, and your dad, so you don't feel too guilty about this mini shopping spree. If you stay out here any longer by yourself, then you're going to end up buying the whole mall. Instead, you take a seat on a nearby park bench and send your dad a quick message that you're ready to be picked up.

"Y/N?" you hear your name being called.

Looking up, you see the one woman you absolutely hate. Well, hate is a strong word, but if she ended up getting captured by a monster, you're not quite sure it'll be you that saves her. She's caused too much pain already; you don't really need any more from her.

"Lisa? What are you doing here?" you ask and stand up carefully.

It makes no sense that you're seeing her here right now. She lives twelve hours east from where your dad lives, and she has no business being in Sioux Falls at all. Well, you don't know what she does in her spare time, but you know she didn't just drive seven hundred and forty miles for a bite to eat.
