Lightning strikes outside, and you visibly flinch from the sound. It's pouring outside so much that you can't see the ground five feet from the house. It's dark and stormy, and your dad did the dumbass thing to go out for a supply run. You don't want him driving in this weather, but the man wanted his alcohol.
Plus, you may have told him you really wanted some chicken nuggets, and that prompted him to go out and get some. He better come back in one piece or else you're going to kill him for leaving.
Dean is sitting at your dad's desk, Sam is in the kitchen getting some water, and you're sitting on the couch right next to the window. With rain comes the cold, and you release hot air on the glass so it fogs up, and you run your finger through the condensation.
"Guys I'm really worried about him," you sigh.
"Where did he go?" Sam asks and walks into the main room.
"Supply run."
"In this?" he scoffs.
"I have a bad feeling," you state.
"About what?"
"I don't know yet, but I have a bad feeling it's going to be one of those days."
Sam takes a seat at the desk when lightning strikes at the same time the thunder booms across the sky. It sounds as if the noise is coming from inside the house, and you audibly gasp at how loud it is. When the lightning passes, there is someone standing in the far corner in the dark.
"Sam! Dean!" you yell and point to the person.
Immediately, they are on alert, but they don't have a chance to do anything because the person steps into the light. Balthazar smirks and puts his hands up in mock surrender.
"Hello boys and Y/N. So lovely of you to have me," he chuckles. "You've seen The Godfather, right?"
"Balthazar... what the fuck are you doing here?" you ask and slowly stand up.
Dean and Sam do the same, and Dean moves to your side as if he is going to protect you against the angel.
"You know in the end where Michael Corleone sends his men to kill his enemies in one big, bloody swoop?"
Balthazar rushes around the living room looking for something, and when he finds it, he grins and heads back over to your dad's desk. Ok it is a bowl, and he pours the container of salt into it.
"Hey! Dick!" you yell, but he pays no attention to you.
"You know, Moe Greene gets it in the eye, and Don Cuneo gets it in the revolving door?"
"I said, 'hey'!"
"You did. Twice. Once with an insult. Good for you," he gives a mock smile before going back to what he was doing. "Blood of lamb. Blood of lamb." he teleports to your dad's fridge and searches through it's contents which isn't much. "Beer, cold pizza, and blood of lamb. Yes! Blood of lamb!"
He teleports back to the desk and pours the liquid into the same bowl with the salt.
"Why are you talking about The Godfather?" Sam asks.
"Because we're in it—right now—tonight. Plus, in the role of Michael Corleone is the archangel Raphael."
"You mind telling us what you mean?" you ask worriedly.
Balthazar isn't listening to you, but instead, is focused on his own little problem. He searches through the contents of your dad's desk and shakes his head nervously.
"No, no, no, no, no," he exclaims until he finds whatever it is he is looking for. He grins and holds up a bone fragment. Your dad really does have the weirdest stuff here. "Yes, the bone of a lesser saint. This vertebra will do very nicely. Your daddy does keep a beautiful pantry."
