I leaned back to my chair after finishing my work. For the new folder that she brought to me just now, I only signed 5 pages. I couldn't cope up with the tiredness that is taking over me.

I exhale heavily and closed my eye as I heard the doors closed. I didn't bother to look at the person who entered.... For I already knew who it is.

"Hades." A voice of a woman that so familiar called my attention. I groan to myself.

'What is she doing in here?'

"What do you want?" I answer with severe tone, not looking at her.

"I should be the one asking you. What is Minthe doing in here?"

I rolled my eyes standing up from my sit. I went to the table on the corner and made some tea.

"Hades. What is she doing in here?"

She called again.

"Does it matter?" I said pouring hot water to the blue and white colored tea cup.

"Yes! You know how much I hate Her Hades! I went down here willingly even if mother was against it, I still did. I wanted to see you and tell you something but the next thing I know is that she's back? And what? She's going to seduce you again?! What the hell Hades?!" Persephone's scream filled the whole room. I exhaled loudly, turning my back on her.

It's always been like this. They hate each other since the beginning. They fought a lot and it's irritating. Only Persephone was the one who always win in the end because of her sarcasm and savage words that left minthe roasted.

"Do you wanna know what she told me? She said she wanted to be there next queen and she'll do everything just for you to come back to her."

I felt my body turned numb. It's like I was splashed with super cold water.

'She said that?' I always knew that Minthe is brutal but I never knew she'd go that far.

I admit I did like her before because she's beautiful and I'm captivated by her charms. But never have I ever want to make her my queen. She is prone to anger issues. There is a side of her that I really hate.

"So?" I asked raising my eyebrows at her. Persephone's eyes widened. I noticed she gritted her teeth due to irritation.

"What?!"

"Even if I choose her to be my queen that shouldn't matter to you right?"

"It matters to me Hades! I'm still the queen of the kingdom and I'm not gonna give my throne to someone who isn't worthy of ruling the Underworld!" She shouted.

For a second, I wanted to put my hands at both side of my ears and run as fast as I could to get away from her. I closed my eyes. My jaw clenched and a very loud sighed escape my lips.

Why did Minthe even comeback? This would give Persephone a license to start a girls war. These isn't the first time they fought in front of me. I've watched them slap each other. I try to take Persephone away but she's stronger when she's angry.

I secretly smiled at remembering how she pushed me away that caused me to hit my back on the shelf. I felt dizzy at that time but their fight continued. For a moment there, I really wanted to take my vengeance but Persephone is my wife so I let it slide. And from that moment on, I never let any woman even if they have strength to lay a hand on me. Neither slap nor pushed, especially hit.
