-Angela-

Just as the ground splits in half beneath me, I quickly run through the other side. The furies, Lord Thanatos, Luke, and the wardens are lounging on the battleground.

It's bloody combat in here you might say.

With all this slashing of swords to swords, roars of the demons vs. The anger of loyal subjects of Hades, and the necklace we are still far from taking it. The underworld is chaos.

The ground continues to crack, I quickly stood up and tried to run but a typical vine swaddled around my foot, I couldn't easily unwrap it off.

“Angela hurry! Before the ground creates a huge gap you can no longer jump” Missy exclaimed from the other side.

I look up at them, I stared at the depth beneath the grounds. The underworld grounds split into two. The trees even the garden of Persephone all tumbledown to the fire, all burned.

After several tries, I manage to get the pathetic vine off me. I stood up at the edge but the Demon being a Demon, continue opening the hell of fire. My foot stumbled across the rocks and I fell over to the depths of hell.

Oh shit! Oh shit!

“Angela!” Vanessa screams. Though I could no longer see her face, by her tone she's in full shock.

I felt heat air filling my back. I closed my eyes in fear of seeing myself dying for the second time, only on this one I'll be able to feel what's it like to be burned alive. I could no longer feel the oxygen, all I felt was burning chaos of smoke.

Though before my body burns in the fire, I felt someone grab my hand. They slide a hand from my waist pulling me close, then flying up back to the ground.

Whoever this person was. Thank you for cheating my death.

“It's okay. You can open your eyes now” said a very familiar voice.

I slowly open my eyes and saw a bit with a wing cap, wearing a chiton godly dress, I looked down and notice his wing sandals.

My heart stops beating for a bit. “Hermes!” I threw my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

“Woah! Miss me already? Don't do that, I don't want to get burned by my uncle later” He teased but I didn't laugh. He studies my reaction and concern look forms on his godly face. “Why? What's wrong?”

“He... H-he died.” I stuttered.

“W-what?!” a shocked and angry expression shapes on his complexion. “Uncle Hades? Dies?” he scoffed. “It would take heaven to fall here yet he'll manage to stand on his feet. He never does. That's how powerful he is. So I'll have a hard time believing in what you're saying, Angela.”

“I-i know. I wish he is alive, but the demon shows his dead body to all of us. He said he got killed by the dangerous poison. That poison was meant for me. I'm the one who got shot by an arrow, but he sucks it out on me. He's the one who absorbs the poison. It's my fault.” tears start to dim my vision. I still couldn't get over the fact that Hades did that foolish thing to save me.

He doesn't deserve to suffer like that. He doesn't deserve any of this, including the fall of his kingdom...

Lord Hermes didn't say anymore, he just sits there and comforted me. “if you feel he's not dead, then we'll find him.”

I wipe the tears from my eyes then stood straight. I looked up at the sky, the demons are winning, but Hade's loyal companions aren't giving up. They'll fight to avenge him. Til death couldn't stand in their way anymore.
