*after few days*

I stroll around the gardens after doing my shift. I watched a lot of souls lining up at the entrance waiting for the gates to open.

There was no one to guide them, plus the burden of Cerberus trying to scare them away.

Even Hades is starting to get busy, and getting suspicious about the sudden death of these individuals. Thanatos is still investigating if it was part of the death book thingy.

There's too many deaths, the Underworld kept working for 24 hours now. Hades couldn't even take a break from his job, but I can see him earlier from among the crowds, he's paler than he usually was. There's tiredness from his eyes.

Hades had already told me that he would be loaded with work, which was already three days ago. Even servants never sleep, they have someone to replace them for the other to rest. Good thing Missy and I were roommates. She'll be resting in the room and I'll take over. Same in vice versa.

Unluckily for Vanessa, her roommate was Portia, and Portia was already on her rest even if she's not done with her shift, having Vanessa to get to work earlier than her schedule. Vanessa ended up ranting that to me, and I gave her advice to tell Ms. Mary about it.

"Hi Brutus" I stooped down to him, and he ran to me, his tail wagging. He licked my fingers, snuggling closer to me. His excitement got me to fall to the grass giggling.

"He seems friendly." Said by a male voice, huskily. I quickly turned to that person and saw a blonde guy with a gold bow in his arms.

Apollo.

He was wearing striped jeans, a white shirt, and a brown jacket, with black bracelet on his wrist. He looks like a normal teenager from the mortal world. Apollo surely knows how to adapt to the new generation easily. All Gods seem too... Except Hades. Though he's turning out like he was outdated with everything, Hades still has a sense of fashion–He just prefers that all his clothes should be black, or gray, and white.

I don't care. He's hot either way.

Apollo was about to reach to pat Brutus, but the husky growled at him causing the Sun God to back away. I snort, gently rubbing my palms to his fur. Brutus Immediately stopped, and cuddled back on my lap.

No doubt 100%, Brutus was trained by Hades.

They're both possessive.

"Does he still look friendly to you?" I teased.

"Not anymore. I wonder why..."

Apollo sat down next to me, not without getting a bark from Brutus. I carefully patted his fur to calm him down. He sighed in relief, frowning at Brutus.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure he won't bite you" I utter to him.

"I don't understand. Dogs weren't this aggressive to me" He muttered.

"If the dog was trained by Hades, you should have doubts"

"Good point." Apollo nods, setting down his bow beside him. Brutus wasn't having it, growled at Apollo again.

I frowned at the Husky, dropping my hands from his fur. He shortly noticed that so he whined, putting his chin on the grass. His behavior kind of reminded me of Hades–The possessive thing rather. Why should I be surprised though? Of course Brutus will only learn from his master.

"So, how are you?" Apollo said, putting his golden bow next to him. He turned to me, smiling brightly as the Sun was supposed to be.

"I'm alright. Why?"
