It was days after Hades' hearing, he had been punished for not stepping into the mortal realm for 70 years, yet I find it funny to see Hades doesn't even care about it.

He went back to his old phase, being the king of the Underworld, doing his job in deciding where to send the souls, one thing just added to his routine–calm and smiling a lot these days. I never find his sudden change cringe or weird, thus I love his new light in him. Just like how he returns home as if he was never punished.

I was strolling through the newly rebuilt gardens of the underworld, each bushes planted with black thorny roses. And each black rose has a small but bright diamond at the center. I'm walking with Brutus beside me, even with his company I can't seem to get Hades out of my mind. I'm worried about him. Will they let him go home? I hope they aren't cruel to him this time, the Underworld needs a king–The Underworld needs Hades.

And I miss him already.

I bent a little and took a single black rose while Brutus kept wagging his tail excitedly. He's a small but terrifying Husky. He nudged me comfortingly as if knowing what I felt.

"I miss you" said by a familiar voice behind me. I know very well how he sneaks up closer to me even without me seeing him. The cold air blew my hair slightly, while his both hands were quickly wrapped on my waist, pulling me into a warm hug.

He rested his head on my shoulders, I felt his breath fanning my neck. I then lifted my one hand on his head and caressed his hair and played with it. I felt his hands gripping my waist so I let go of him Immediately.

Not today, Aidoneus.

"How much trouble did you get after your trial?" I asked softly, while tracing my fingers on the back of his hand.

"70 years doesn't seem long." He murmured to my neck, his eyes closed, and I felt my face heating up at the thought of someone seeing us like this.

I let go of his embrace and faced him. His eyes seem tired, his skin seems paler, yet he still manages to keep that smile on his face.

"70 years of what?"

"I'm not allowed to go up to the mortal realm and the Olympus itself. Not that I have interest in going there."

"What do you mean?" I asked frowning.

He licks his lips putting his hands on his waist, while shaking his head. At this point I couldn't figure out if he's angry or what.

He then moved towards me, swiftly grabbing my waist with one hand and pulled me close. Our bodies touched, I put my hand on his chest to maintain the gap between us.

"I have everything I need right here. I'm content with it." He said against my lips.

Hades sure does love to grab me with his one hand and to pull me towards him as if claiming me all his.

I never mind though, I love his dominance. I bit my lower lip, I couldn't help but smile. I leaned closer, while putting my hands on his shoulders.

"Should I be proud?"

Hades chuckled, his voice vibrated through my palms. "You should be. You have a God wrapped around your fingers–You have me."

Hades's eyes have their way of getting my attention with just one look. My hand traced every inch of his face down to his jaw, he had the perfect features of a man, but Hades wasn't any man–he's a God. And he told me I have him wrapped around my fingers.

Hades had proved his loyalty to me, how he would always protect me even if I'm not asking for it. Like when he sucked the poison out of my body. He was desperate to save me, I saw it in his eyes, how they teared up.
