Chapter 4: Long tour

"Aether, tell me about yourself." You said with a smile as you walk along side with him and his cute companion named Paimon. Though, reading some books about demon's and Mythical creatures, it surprised you that her name is Paimon in which a demon from The Lesser Key of Solomon.

"Myself? Well, I'm a traveler from afar and I am looking-" Aether seemed to pause as he remembered something in which made him frown and looked down at the ground. Paimon sensed what he was thinking and quickly cover it up by taking over the conversation.

"And he's looking for his twin sister." Paimon finished.

You were taken back as you felt deeply sorry for Aether. You know that feeling considering that you have your two brothers with you, and he must feel really down knowing he couldn't find his sister yet. Poor guy. You smiled sadly at him as you place a hand on his shoulder. He looked at you surprisingly with his glossy golden eyes, he seemed to be holding back the tears and sadness. Your heart ached at the thoughts.

"Hey, I'm sure you're going to find her at the end of the day. Don't give up! If you want! I can help you look for her! I want to join your adventures and vent through this realm!" You said excitedly as you tried to lighten up his mood in which worked just for a little bit.

"Really?" Aether asked as he felt a little bit better as Paimon smiled in relief.

"If that is...My brother would let me..." You said as avoid his gaze in which made Paimon raise a brow.

"Oh yeah, speaking of your brother, why doesn't he let you go outside on your own? You have your elemental powers right?" Paimon asked as she floats beside you as she puts her pointers on her chin.

"Well, he's just being over protective, especially on what happened to my father before. I just guessed that he doesn't want anything to happen to me." You said as you smiled and sigh, "But sometimes, it's kind of suffocating with him keeping me inside of the manor every single day of my life." You said.

Aether nod, "Understandable on why Master Diluc would let me accompany you. I mean, i know his motives especially...y'know..." He said as he lets his voice fade out.

You giggled in response, "I know." You said as you decided to pinch Aether's cheek.

"Ow! What was that for?" He asked as he rubbed it gently.

"I'm sorry! I just couldn't help it! You look adorable!" You squealed as you pulled his into a bare hug.

Aether blushed at the contact, especially when his side face could feel your chest. Paimon watched in amusement as she saw Aether's face turned really red as if he was a Jueyun Chili. Aether didn't react or even pulled away, he just doesn't want to look rude so he lets you do his thing. You giggled and right after letting him go.

Noticing that blush on his cheeks, you scoff. You took a deep breath as you looked ahead, "Can you take me to Liyue?" You asked him.

Aether shook his head and composed himself right after he did so, "Liyue? You've never been to Liyue?" He asked.

You nodded, "Yeah, ever since I'm a kid. Father for some sort of reason never lets me set foot to Liyue. I wonder why..." You said as your thoughts were now clouded by your past.

"Hm, Okay! I'll take you! And i know a fastest route!" Aether said determinedly. He then grabbed your wrist and started to drag you along with him while running. You giggled at how playful Aether can be, you have a feeling that you and him are going to be good friends. That is, if Diluc allows you to.

"Waaaah!" You eyes sparkles in excitement as you saw Liyue not from far. The docks and the Millelith that guards on the Liyue's front colossal gate. Aether smiled at your expression as he still holds your wrist and starts to gently drag you towards Liyue.

"This place is beautiful!" You said in awe as your eyes wonder all around. Excitement feeling your heart as you couldn't stop smiling.

Paimon giggled, "I know right? You and Aether had the same expression when we first arrived here!" Paimon said as she laughed afterwards.

It didn't take the three of you long to get here. As Aether said earlier, he knows as short way to get here and he was not wrong. Though, it was quiet exhausting since both of you encountered some enemies on the way- and when Aether saw your skills and elemental bursts, he stared in awe and praised until Paimon told him to stop.

You're a (Element of choice), an you use (Polearm, Bow, Claymore, Sword, Catalyst) as a weapon. Not to mention how you hardly sweat during that fight. Aether wondered even more on why Diluc would be so over protective of you even though you and Diluc had the same amount of strength and power. But Aether understood as to why Diluc would do so, He's guessing that Diluc is scared to lose you too.

"Ooh! Aether! What's this??" You asked excitedly as the female that sells this type of thing smiled at you.

"It's Liyue's designed Kite! Would you like to buy one, Miss?" She asked with a bright smile.

"Oh no! I was just looking! It looks beautiful!" You complimented as it made the seller blush.

"A-Ah! Thank you! It's hand-made so we're really proud of our works!" She said as she bowed her head.

"Ooh! Hand-mades!" You said excitedly.

The seller looked over to Aether as she smiled, knowing that she saw this traveller more than once. Of course, going back and forth to wherever he's going, she was already familiar with that exotic outfit and of course, the blonde long hair.

"Hey! (Name)! I know a place that would surely make your mouth water! Liyue makes the delicious delicacies! Come with me!" Paimon said as she grabbed your hand and quickly pulls you away from the seller as Aether bowed, and apologize quickly before following that two of you.

Paimon then looked back at you with a smile as she giggled, "You're going to love the foo-"

"Paimon! Look out-!" Before Aether could stop the two of you.

You and Paimon had already bumped into someone. Aether didn't bother to look over to the man who had bumped into you, he was worried that you might get hurt. Him knowing how powerful Diluc could be, it scares him to imagine how he would be when he's angry.

Aether then quickly helped your up as Paimon shook her head softly as she placed a hand on her head. You wince as you rubbed your lower back.

"Are you okay, (Name)?" Aether asked worriedly.

Your give him a nod and smiled right after, "Yeah, I'm okay." You said.

Paimon then looked over to the man that bumped into you and her. Her eyes widened and so does Aether when he saw that familiar orange hair that almost killed him that day.

"Childe!" Both Paimon and Aether said in unison.

The man with orange haired giggled, with a closed eyes smiled as he waved his hand once, "Hello! Traveler, Paimon. And you." He said and once he opened his eyes, his orbs were darted towards you as he smirked.
