Chapter 3: Honorary Knight

Many years have passed and everything seemed to change in a good way. (Name) had became a fine young lady, who took the looks of her beautiful mother of course. Her older brother, known as Diluc, who owned the Winery Industry at the age of 14 grown to be a fine young man also. But, something's never changed.

Due to (Name) hitting puberty and becoming a fully grown woman, she had many admirers here and there causing Diluc to double her protection even more. Kaeya on the other hand would help her sneak out on the night and have fun at Mondstadt without her older brother knowing.

It became a daily routine for the lady to sneak out during the night. But she knows that she have to pull that thing out sooner or later because with we older brother being witty and smart, of course she would know better that Diluc himself would find it out soon.

You knock on Diluc's office softly and wait for an answer. You waited for at least a minute until you heard a faint 'Come in.'. You sigh as you opened the door and heading with.

Diluc then looked up from his paper works and nod, "(Name)." He said quietly as he looked back at the paper in his hands once again.

You took a deep breath and smiled, "I know I've asked you this for the fifth time this week..." You said as you voice fade out.

"And for the fifth time I said no." He said coldly in which made you frown.

"But I just wanna go to Mondstadt! Kaeya's there! I won't do you any troubles i swear!" You said, almost sounding like you're whining.

"(Name), Kaeya is busy at the headquarters of the knights, and also, they're fixing the city after the attack of Stormterror." Diluc said.

"Pleaaaase! It's been awhile since I last visited Klee!" You said as you give him the puppy dog eyes, hoping that he would at least let you visit the adorable girl. And when you saw that he's not budging from your pleads, your lips immediately turn into a frown as you crossed your arms on your chest, "And you know that I can protect myself. It's not like I don't have any visions." You said as your voice fade out once again, but it was clear to Diluc.

There was a silence in between the two of you. You're not leaving his office until he lets you to Mondstadt without him accompanying you along. You're not a kid anymore.

Diluc sigh, "Fine. I'll let you go to Mondstadt, but on one condition." He said as his eyes narrowed.

Your eyes sparkles in joy, "Really?" You said as your voice squealed a little due to the excitement.

"Yes, but on one condition." He said as his voice was as monotone as ever.

"I'll take it!" You excitedly said as your eyes sparkle still.

"A certain individual will accompany you to everywhere you want to go. Deal?" He said.

"Accompany? Everywhere I want to go?" You said as you let your thoughts run around, thinking if wether you should accept this. If this certain individual is kind enough to let you do whatever you want, then you'll take it. They're just going to accompany you right? They're not going to be strict like your big brother whenever he's the one accompanying you. Hmm, maybe you'll take this offer.

Diluc then stand up from his seat and walk infront of his desk as he leaned on the table, crossing his arms as he waits for you to make up your decision.

"Hmm, I'll take it!" You said happily with a bright smile on your face.

"Great. I'll sent them a letter telling to come here as fast as they could." He said as this made you jump up and in joy.

Running up to him and throwing your hands around his torso as you hugged him tight, "Thank you, Brother!" You said as burried your face on his chest.

Diluc sigh as a small smile crept up on his lips as he gently pats your head.

Breaking the hug, you smiled at him brightly, "I need to get ready!" You excitedly said as you giggled and running out of his office.

Diluc scoff as he smiled. Going back to his seat as he continues with his paperwork's.

You waited outside of manor as you wait on the stone with your (Prefered choice of clothing). While you patiently wait for this certain individual, you swing your legs back and forth as you stare at the blue bright sky. You also have a secret friend in Mondstadt too, and you always sneak out a wine just for him during the night. It was funny and entertaining to see whenever he gets to have a taste of that wine that your big brother had been keeping hidden at the cellar of the mansion. His name is Venti, or as to what he introduced to you. He also revealed that he was The god known as Barbatos, and you really believed that because he really showed you.

You sigh as you heard gently footsteps that's coming close towards you. You darted your attention towards there and saw a boy with long blonde braided hair and a cute being floating beside him.

"I wonder why Diluc called us at such short notice..." The cute creature said in her adorable voice.

"Must be an important mission." The boy said as his eyes landed onto you.

You smiled as you stand up from where you're seating, "You must be the certain individual my brother has told me about!" You giggled as you walked towards him.

"D-Diluc has a little sister?!" The cute creature beside the boy said in shock.

"Are you the one that we're going to escort to where you want to go?" The boy said.

You nodded and smiled, "Yes! I'm (Name) Ragnvindr! Let's be friends!" You said as you offered a hand.

The boy and the creature looked at one another as the boy gladly took your hand and shakes it, "Aether, and this is Paimon," he paused as he looked over to Paimon as he snort, "Our emergency food." He said.

"Hey! There goes the emergency food again!" Paimon whine as she seemingly kicked her leg on air in which made you giggled.

"Great! I want to go to Mondstadt! I miss playing with Klee!" You said as you quickly grabbed Aether's hand as you dragged him along with you.

Aether caught a glimpse of your pendant and he immediately familiarized what it is. You're also the same as everyone he met in Mondstadt, you also have a vision. And your element is (Choice of Element). But he also wondered if you're a claymore user like your older brother, or a sword welder like Kaeya, or a mage like Lisa, or an Archer like Amber. Those question was left un-answered in Aether's head.
