The sun was already rising up in the sky when you and Childe got out of the tavern. You rolled your eyes as the two of you head back to the manor.

"Can you carry me on your back, please? Can't stand walking." You said as you look at Childe who only smiled.

"Anything for you m'lady," He said as he kneeled down, back facing you as you chuckled.

With him giving you piggy back ride, you rested your chin on his shoulders as the two of you quietly made your way back to the manor. You're going to be lying if you say you didn't enjoy your late night date with Childe, it was fun and also made you feel special.

This man manage to squeeze his way into the depths of your heart, and you're not complaining. Except sometimes he acts like a total idiot, but overall, Childe didn't fail to make you feel love.

"The sun is already rising, do you think Avis would let us sleep through the whole day?" He asked.

"Hmm, I'll talk to her..." You mumbled as you buried your face on the crook of his neck.

He smells good hehe.

When the two of you arrived at the manor, everyone was still sleeping. So, the both of you had to sneak your way in to go to your personal rooms.

You look back at Childe as he opens his door, he look at you and give you a wink in which you smile as you rolled your eyes. Looking back at him, he blew you a kiss and wink as he entered his room.

What an idiot.

A romantic idiot, don't you think?

And with that, you also entered your room and plop down to your bed, recovering the sleep you didn't had last night.

The rumbling sound of the wooden wheels of the carriage arrived in front of the manor. Maids and other workers were busy tidying up the place knowing that their master is about to return.

Albedo and Klee bid goodbye to Adeline and Avis as the two head out to go back to the city.

Avis looked back at the grandfather clock to see that it's already 9 in the morning, and you and the ginger are still not up yet. She sigh as she opened the door double doors of the manor, her black coat swaying as the gently breeze hits her.

The black carriage stopped as Diluc had gotten out, petting the horses in the process as he walked towards Avis.

"Thank you for watching over (Y/n) and Tartaglia." He said as he shakes Avis' hand.

"It's alright, no need to thank me, Kid. Besides, it's been a honor to watch over my goddaughter." She said with a smile.

Diluc nodded, "Is she still asleep?" He asked.

The scientist nodded, "Yes. Don't wake her up, she had a tiring day yesterday." She said with a smirk.

Diluc raised his eyebrow in confusion, "What do you mean?" He asked as he fixed his black gloves.

"We had a little family adventure in Dragonspine, don't worry, no one was hurt." She said as she chuckled. She snaps her finger as her black sun hat appears as she grabbed her luggage beside her, She looked at Diluc, "Don't do anything irrational to your sister, she's a grown woman Diluc. She's not a kid anymore. Lessen your strictly rule, it's going to be the reason that she's going to hate you." She said as she started walking towards the carriage.

Diluc watched as she enters inside, The woman looked at him through the window and smirk, "She and Ajax make a cute couple." She said as she started laughing as the carriage started moving slowly.

"What is she talking about? Don't tell me..." Diluc breath out.

Oh no.

"It's unusual for you to call me here... To talk?" Kaeya asked as he watch over Diluc who was sitting on his desk inside of his office, looking a bit distraught. Kaeya sigh as he continued, "What seems to be the problem?" He asked.

"Our little sister and that Fatui are now a thing." Diluc said.

Kaeya's eyes widened in surprise, "Wow, that's the least answer I expect coming from you." He said.

"Nows not the time to joke around Kaeya, I know we both know that we don't get a long, but when it comes to (Y/n), it's a different story." Diluc said as he stand up from his seat.

"I know, but if Tartaglia genuinely loves her and that he makes her happy, shouldn't we support their relationship?" Kaeya asked.

"You oddly sounds like the traveler," Diluc said as he looked at Kaeya with a stern look. Kaeya just scoffs and smile.

"Not really, just have a really soft spot for our sister." He said with a gentle smile.

"We— I can't, I can't support their relationship. Childe is a Harbinger, A Fatui agent. I don't want anything to happen to (Y/n)." He said as he looked over to Kaeya with a serious expression. All the memories of the past came flooding back into Diluc's head, The delusion, Their father.

Kaeya clearly understood, but for the fact that he doesn't want (Y/n) to get heartbroken. He should at least suggest a way to Diluc so that he wouldn't do anything rash towards you and your feelings.

Kaeya sigh, "Let's let them be, for a while." He suggested.

Diluc was about to disagree but then stopped midway when realization hit him. The words of Avis came flooding inside his mind as he sigh.

"I- I agree." He said, seemingly holding back his answer.

Kaeya was surprised but he was glad that he agreed.

"It would be better to leave them alone and let (Y/n) be happy, besides, Childe had already betrayed his agency but I'm worried that (Y/n) might get involve with the mess." Diluc said as he leaned against his office table with arms crossed against chest.

"And that's why we're here to protect her.  And if you forgotten, Childe risked his life and career for her, I think that's enough assurance to know that he truly loves our little sister," Kaeya said as he paused, smiling at the thought of (Y/n) finally found someone that loved her romantically, "So, no need to worry, Master Diluc. She will be fine." He said as he smiled.

Diluc rolled his eyes, "You're right. Later tonight, I'll be holding a grand dinner for the success of wine business in Fontaine, you can invite who ever you want. It'll be held here in the manor." Diluc said.

Kaeya nodded, "You got it. I'll be taking my leave now." He said as he walk over to the door, but stopped, "Don't do anything that'll break (Y/n)'s heart, okay?" Kaeya said as he opens the door and closed it behind him.

"I know." Diluc sighs.
