At the Dawn Winery-"Excushe Mez Mish..." A child said in a sleepy voice, She tugged my lab coat as I look down to see the little elf that was with the Chimera yesterday. My eyebrows furrowed.
"Huh? What in—" I pause my sentence as I was about to curse to the child. I took a deep breath and smile at the kid who was rubbing her eyes, "Hello, Klee. Good morning," I said as I kneel down to her level.
Those two fucking idiots left this child for delivery to that Blonde ass Scientist.
I thought as an irk mark appeared on my temple, though, I forced a friendly smile to the child.
"Huwer ish my brother?" She asked as she yawned.
"Oh, my dearest, he left early to do something important in Dragonspine. Though, I did ask (Y/n) and Childe to take you with them, but the two got too excited for their 'date' that they forgot all about you." I said with a smile.
Klee frowned. I immediately go through back with all my words, Jeez that was a harsh way of putting that all in a sentence. But, I already said it.
"But, Big Brother Albedo said he'll take to the snowy mountains with him." She said as tears threatened to come out of her eyes socket.
Children...sigh.
(In this story, my head canon for Klee and Albedo is that Klee doesn't call him 'Mister Albedo'. I just thought it'll be more wholesome if Klee calls him Big bro.)
"Hm, I guess I'll just take you with me!" I said in a cheerful tone which made the kid smile.
Seriously, I could just leave her here at the Dawn Winery, but I'm pretty sure she'll run around bothering me and the workers inside this manor. I hate kids, and I don't want one to stick with me for more than an hour.
Ajax is an exception of course.
"Really, Grandma?" She said with a sparkling eyes.
That irked me as I glare at her, "IM NOT THAT OLD, CHILD! GO TO THE DINING ROOM AND GET DONE WITH YOUR MEAL!" I shouted in annoyance.
Klee puffed out her cheeks in annoyance, "Fine! What should I call you then?" She asked as she looked back at me.
"Avis, just Avis." I said as I crossed my arms as I looked down at her.
"Okay Missus Avis!" She said as she run away towards the dining room area.
Like I said, I hate children.

Your point of view
I feel like we're forgetting something, or someone.
"Around the corner of this mountain, I think the camp of Mr. Albedo should be near." Childe said as he looked at the map with smile. He was still holding on to my hand.
I didn't mind the warmth it gives though, it's comforting.
But what was it that we've forgot—
KLEE!
"Oh shoot." I breath out as Child looked at me.
He turned his whole posture towards me and slightly tilted his head to the side, He raised on his brow and asked, "Is something wrong? What happened?" He asked out of concern.
"We forgot Klee," I said blankly as I looked at him.
Childe's eyes widened, "Crap..." He said, as his expressions shows fear.
I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at him, "What? What is it?"
"Your godmother, My teacher, Hates Children. Who knows what she might do to Klee if that child ever gets on her nerves!" He said a bit frantic.
Childe seemed to care so much about Klee even though the two of them barely know each other, other than sharing their childish tales to each other. Though, right now, this is not the case.
"We should head back!" I said as I looked at him, I felt his hand tightened as he hold on to my hand.
"We should." He said with a serious gaze.
Childe looked so worried about Klee and my godmother. What can she do that cute child anyway? She's not that cruel, is she?
"Childe? What can she do to Klee anyway? Klee is a nice kid—"
"You have no idea what your godmother is like, (Y/n)." He said as his voice shakes for a bit. You notice the fear that's laced around in his tone, and this worried you.
"What? What do you mean?" You asked.
"(Y/n), all I could explain to you is that Ms. Avid hates children, and that's it." He said, sensing that he doesn't want to continue with this conversation, I let it be.
But I bit my lower lip knowing how frightened Childe must be, judging from his tone of voice, he wasn't like this earlier. What did Avis do to make Childe fear her that much?
He said that she was his teacher, and what kind of teaching did she do Childe? All of these question were running inside your head.
Both of you took a halt when you saw Albedo.
"Albedo!" I called out for him as he looked back at me.
"Ah! (Y/n)! What brings you here?" He asked.
"We were just about to return to the winery. We're so sorry that we left Klee behind." I said as I give him a nervous smile.
Albedo give you a soft smile as he scoffs, "That's fine, I was about to return too to get her." He said, as his smile disappears when he looked over to Childe.
Both of them stared at each others eyes for a second before Albedo took back his attention to me. That's weird, where is all of this intimidation coming from? I asked myself as I stared at Albedo.
"Let's head back, shall we?" He said as I nodded to his words.
"Let's go, Childe." I said as I grabbed his hand as we follow Albedo to the outskirts of the snowy mountain.
I noticed how quiet Childe has become. I looked at him as we were walking behind Albedo, we kept out distance but still followed the blonde.
"You okay?" I asked him as he looked down at me and smile.
"All good here," he paused he looked back towards Albedo who kept his back on us, "Just felt like something's off." He continued as he stared at Albedo.
You furrowed your eyebrows, if Childe didn't mention anything you wouldn't felt that same way as he did.
"I agree." You said as you also stared at Albedo.
"Do you think he's really the scientist?" Childe asked.
"What?" You responded.
"Ms. Avis did warned us about encountering Albedo during out journey, she also specified that Albedo wouldn't roam around the mountains since he's staying at his camp. Do you think this guy is an imposter?" He said.
✧✧
Silence enveloped the two of you as the sound of crunching snow underneath your feet and his were the only noise that accompanied you both.
Wasn't he suppose to tell you the truth about everything earlier? Why are things getting so weird and seemed to be drawing you away from the answers.
Albedo stopped walking and so did the two of you, both you and Childe looked at each other.
"Ah! There's Klee, and she's with a woman." Albedo said.
"Yep, he's definitely an imposter." Childe said.
"How so?" You asked.
"Albedo from earlier this morning called my teacher 'Old hag'." Childe said.
You're not sure if you're suppose to laugh or not.
