Diluc had announced the closing of the party. You told Childe what had happened between you and that stranger earlier, and he seemed to not take it as a good sign.

That was one of the harbingers, his code name is Pantalone and he's ranking nine in their league. This could be a potential danger, and Childe thought that it'd be better for him to leave, but then they're also after you for some odd reason.

Maybe the agency found out that you are his weakness? This thought let alone made him worry.

Would running away with you would guarantee your safety? Oh how he wished he already quit that job, it would've been so easy being with you. Childe sighed as he took another sip of the wine in his hand. Can the universe just give him a break?

"I see you having a rough night, Childe," The anemo archon said as he looked at Childe with a smile.

The anemo archon just appeared right in front of him, but he was too occupied with his thoughts that he didn't even seem to care. Venti chuckled as he took the wine in Childe's hand, "That's mine," Childe said as he narrowed his eyes at Venti who just laughed.

"And you think drowning yourself in alcohol will answer all of your problems? Don't be like me, Kid!" Venti said as he patted Childe's shoulder.

Childe fought the thought of him saying his problems to this drunkard, but he also wanted to let this all out. It's weighing heavy in his heart, the thought of him not being able to protect (Y/n) from the harbingers. He felt useless and weak, and that's something that he most definitely didn't want to feel.

"Do you think I'll keep her safe for the rest of our lives?" He asked.

This made Venti stop midway on his drink as he looked at Childe to see him staring at the table, "Are you strong enough to fulfill that thought?" Venti asked.

"I... I don't know." He replied as he sigh, "I am strong, but I suddenly felt like I'm not when the danger is just close to us," He said.

"I guess you're talking about that rich fellow with curly black locks and with glasses?" Venti asked which made Childe look at him, a slight bit of expression of disbelief.

"Pantalone?" Childe asked.

The archon giggled, "Oh, was that his name? Yeah, I accidentally puked on his coat earlier, He left the party immediately after that." He said with a proud smile as he laughed shortly whilst continuing to drink.

Childe wasn't sure if he should laugh at that statement or not. He knew that Pantalone was a clean freak, and most likely freak out when there was a little stain on his clothes. And this archon had literally puked on one of Pantalone's expensive coats, of course, that man will leave the place immediately.

But that didn't assure Childe. He sigh as he buried his face in his palms, "Is there any way for me to protect (Y/n)?" He said as he put his head on the table.

"How about you fake you two fake your own death? As Morax did, he really did you dirty, huh?" Venti said as he smirked at the ginger who just silently groan.

He did remember that memory, and oh how he despises the trickery that happened to him. But, if even he and (Y/n) faked their own death would Diluc even allow it? It was a good idea, and for sure when the news reached the headquarters, the harbingers will stop looking for the two of them.

But who's even fitting enough to be blamed for their death, let alone have a body of proof that the two of them are really dead?

Wait, why is he already thinking this when he hasn't heard Diluc's plan and (Y/n)'s thoughts?

He'll have to think this through tomorrow.

"Hey, that could work," You said as you look over to your older brother who just sigh as he furrowed his eyebrows.

Childe had discussed his plan with Diluc, but (Y/n) just loved jumping in the conversation. He was a bit nervous at first, but he regained his confidence and worked up the courage to talk to Diluc.

"That's a risky plan, and you're also taking my little sister away from my care," Diluc said as he give Childe a stern glare.

"But it's the only plan that we can guarantee that the harbingers will stop looking for us," He said in his defense as you nodded quietly, agreeing with his plan.

Diluc hummed, "I'll think about it, just assure me you have the strength to protect my little sister," He said as he added a stern tone to his words. He watched as Childe nodded in response to his words as he walked towards his table to grab the feathered pen and a paper, "I think I know someone that's fitting for the blame of your deaths," Diluc said as you and Childe exchanged looks, "But you need to go to an isolated place where no one could know," He said as he stopped writing as he looked at the two of you, "Call Venti, (Y/n)." He said.

That actually went well.

The plan that Diluc had made fit perfectly.

"Well, time to make some fake corpse," Your godmother said as she grabbed her black gloves from the table in front of her.

You had called Venti earlier as he was kind to give you guys an isolated location away from any famous civilization. Diluc had precisely built up this plan. Your godmother will take the blame for killing the two of you(You and Childe)and create a fake corpse to show proof. Venti already has a sweet isolated location for you and Childe to hide.

Diluc had made sure to keep this as confidential as possible as he planned to send your basic needs every end of the month. He already had a house prepared there when Venti showed him the location earlier. Don't ask how they already have all of that prepared when Diluc just made this plan earlier this morning.

There's actually no need to ride Dvalin since you can also arrive at the island in boats and ships.

Currently, all of you were at your godmother's place. She's already making a fake corpse that was similar to the two of you. It saved her a lot of time since she knows how to use alchemy.

Without any word of consent from her, she grabbed your cheeks as she forcefully opened your mouth and gently scrapped your tongue. You glared at her as you attempt to attack her with your vision, but Childe stopped you.

"Thanks for the DNA, (Y/n)." She said with a wide smile as she turns over to Childe, "Your turn, Ginger," She said as Childe just obeyed.

This plan better work.
