You got yourself ready as you change into your usual clothing. You stretched your limbs as you sigh. The two of you still hasn't name the dogs, and you're wondering what Tartaglia would name them.

Heading downstairs, you see him making a coffee for himself as he took a sip. He hissed as he cursed, saying that it was too hot.

"Tarts, Where's mine?" You said as you smirk at him.

He grimaced at your words, "Tarts? Tarts? Really?" He said as he glared at you.

You laughed, "What? It's cute, sweet, and delicious!" You said.

Tartaglia then laughed as he pulled you into a hug, burying your face on his chest, "I don't have the guts to hit you on the head, you're just so adorable!" He said as he broke the hug just to pinch your cheeks.

"Ow! Enough-! I'm gonna make myself some (Preferred Morning Drink)[Istg, don't type vodka in the comments]." You said as he nodded.

"Alright, be careful on the hot water though," He said as you rolled your eyes at him.

"Seriously?" You said as Tartaglia just innocently nodded.

.

.

.

It was around afternoon when a mail arrived at the household.

"(Y/nnnn)! There's a mail for you heeere!" Tartaglia shouted from the door as you stand up from your seat. You were currently playing with the dogs, and still trying to give them names.

You approached Tartaglia as you raised a brow, "From who?" You asked.

"Eehh, from your brother, Diluc," He said as he handed you the small envelope with your families crescent as a stamp.

You took it and stared at it for a while. It somehow made you nervous. Your brother never used the family crescent stamp, not unless it's very important and it shouldn't be read by the others.

"Hey, look, the delivery kid gave us five glasses of milk—" Tartaglia stopped midway as he saw your worried expression, his eyebrows immediately furrowed as you he looked at you, "Are you okay?" He asked as he gently placed down the glasses of milk on his hand. He gently grabbed your chin to make you look up to him.

You seemed to snap out of your thoughts as you look at him directly in the eyes, "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Just made me worried since my older brother doesn't like using our family crescent stamp when sending me a letter. This must be important," You paused as you tip-toed and kissed his cheeks, "I'll be upstairs to read this," You said as you turned around to make yourself go upstairs.

Tartaglia watched you with a worried gaze, "Okay, tell me what's in the letter, I'll be naming on of our dogs Tarts." He said, still with a worried look as you scoff.

"Alright, this won't take long," You said.

You took a deep breath as you carefully opened the envelope. You were currently inside your room that you share with Tartaglia.

Sitting in the chair, you ready your composure as you were ready to read the letter from your brother.

The time has come for you to learn the truth. The cause of father's death was indeed cause by a delusion, but that's just the tip of the ice berg. You must be wondering why I'm telling all of this to you now, but I'm here to tell you the truth. The horrid truth.

(Y/n), I was the one who killed Father—

You immediately stopped reading the letter when you read that sentence.

Diluc told you that it was father's delusion that put an end to him. Why is Diluc just telling you all of this now?

Your heart started beating so fast. You weren't even halfway into finishing the message, yet you felt like you didn't want to ready the whole thing.

You gulped as you took a deep breath.

You eventually continued to read the whole entire thing.

...I know that sounded so bad, but it was for a good cause. Father asked me to, it's the only thing to put an end to his suffering.

I am not there to protect you anymore. I know you're strong, but you can't be so sure.

(Y/n), the man that you love has a delusion. It's best if you stop him from using that anymore. Don't repeat the past, I don't want you to experience that pain and hatred.

I love you, (Y/n). Please, take care.

You paused as you squinted your eyes to get a clearer vision with the little sentence down next to his signature.

Also, Me and Kaeya will be visiting there next week, along with the traveler and the archon.
