It was dinner time, It was really awkward. In your part of course. There you were seated next to Albedo as he was gently and diligently feeding Klee with Mushroom soup. Diluc was seated upfront as he was just quiet, trying to enjoy his food. And Childe, who seemed to keep his posture cool. Though, The ginger head sigh and smiles.

"Seriously, Is this how quiet you guys take your dinner?" He asked as he looked at Diluc who seemed to look over to him, it surprised you that Diluc didn't even give him a scowling look.

"Well, it is the first time we had a guest for in a while, and of course, (Y/N) and I rarely take the dinner together at this table." He said as he continued eating.

"Is that so-" Child spoke yet he got cut off when the little girl pointed at him.

"Is this the prince charming that saved you, big sister?!" Klee said, veeery loudly.

Albedo quickly dabbed Klee's mouth with a napkin gently as Klee whined. Diluc seemed to perk up his attention when he heard that as he looked over in your direction to see you with a flush face. Childe on the other hand chuckled and looked over to you to see you avoiding his eye contact.

Klee was laughing when Childe was telling her tales about the mythical creatures in his hometown, Snezhnaya. He just knows how to entertain children. Albedo didn't mind, of course, he knew that those tales were fake, but seeing Klee enjoy his little story, he absolutely didn't mind.

Though, everything came to a pause when Diluc quietly stand up from his seat, wiping his mouth with a white napkin as he placed it next to his finished plate. He looked down at you as you silently ate your own dinner. He sigh and took a deep breath.

"(Y/N), Tomorrow, I am going to live early, your godmother is going to arrive to check you if you still have any further injuries. And also, your friend Venti is said to visit, so make sure to lock the cellar. You know how badly he wants to take a sip of those expensive wine." He said as you look up to him and nodded. And then it clicked.

Your godmother? It's been so long since she last visited. Your father was still alive at that time, it was odd seeing her again after all those years.

"Yeah, okay. Where are you going anyway?" You asked, looking at Childe by the corner of your eyes, he seemed to be smiling at Klee as he continues to tell childish stories to her. Looking back at Diluc he sighs.

"A business in Fontaine. They called me for a special meeting, saying that they needed more stacks of delivery with our wine. It'll take me two to three days to come back, that's why you're godmother is going to stay here to watch over you and Childe." He said as you nodded in response.

"Yeah, just be careful since I'm not gonna be able to say that to you tomorrow." You said as he nodded.

Pushing back his chair, he spoke, "Enjoy your dinner." He said as he walked towards the stairs and head straight back to his office.

"Wow, your brother sure is a workaholic huh?" Childe said as this brought your attention back to him. He was grinning at you but you certainly can't send the same energy back to him.
