Evangeline’s POV
Slowly the darkness became light once again but I was in a different place. I was no longer walking home or in the alley way, I was now in the school gym. How I got here was a different story. I went to stand up to quickly get home but sadly I couldn’t. I looked down at myself to see rope tied around my wrists that were kept behind my back whilst my ankles were tied together in front of me, and a piece of cloth was in my mouth.
Sadly that wasn’t it, the rope burned my skin and every breath felt like I was swallowing a mouthful of needles. I knew exactly why- wolfsbane.
Trying to keep deadly still I let my eyes wander around the gym to see who else was here. By what I saw I could see that I was hidden by the side of the bleachers so no one could see me but I could see around the room. Two dead bodies lay on the floor at the foot of Klaus. Elena, Bonnie, Matt, Tyler and a blond who I didn’t know stood around the room.
I tried to listen in to their conversation but it was quite hard from this distance.
“You know I have had trouble creating my hybrids, but we have a werewolf right here, so why don’t we see whether Bonnie can find something in her grimoire to help her?” Klaus chuckled.
“Where would you find a werewolf from? Aren’t they nearly extinct?” Elena questioned.
“What do you mean werewolves? Hybrids?” Tyler asked sounding confused.
“I’ll just go get her,” Klaus stated but I could hear his smirk in his voice.
A lump made its way into my throat which made a few tears to begin to fall down my cheeks. I never wanted Tyler to find out about the supernatural creatures here in Mystic Falls, especially not like this.
Klaus came into my view with a smirk imprinted onto his lips. I tried not to let him see my fear but I knew it wouldn’t help. He gripped the rope around my ankles ripping it away from my skin. Instant relief swept over them as the wolfsbane left my skin. As soon as the ropes were removed he gripped my lower arm pulling me onto my feet, dragging me into the main part of the gym, before throwing me back to the ground.
As my side hit the ground he bent down pulling off the piece of cloth the covered my mouth.
“Evangeline,” My close friends questioned together.
“What’s going on Eve?” Tyler asked looking scared and worried.
Looking up at Klaus I know he wouldn’t let me have my one wish but it was certainly worth a shot at trying to get him to allow me.
“Please can I just have a minute to talk to Tyler, I need to explain. Afterwards you can turn me into a hybrid if you wish, you can kill me, I don’t care but I need to explain to him,” I whispered with tears streaming down my cheeks.
“Fine, but only five minutes and you can only go as far as this room,” He sighed, pulling the rope from my wrists.
Tyler hastily made his way over to me pulling me to my feet. I leant onto his shoulder as he led me over to the bleachers where we sat down onto the second row of seats.
“What is going on Eve?” He questioned with a light frown.
“I’m a werewolf and so are you. You’re just aren’t triggered. Dad was an un-triggered werewolf and Mason was a triggered werewolf. It’s generic and when you break the curse you turn into a werewolf every full moon. It’s not pleasant every bone in your body breaks and it happens once a month, which is the day I dread the most. Don’t ask about how you break the curse believe me ignorance is bliss. If I tell you, you won’t be able to think of anything but that.
“I love you Tye, and if I don’t make it through this I need you to promise me you’ll take care of Mum. You won’t let yourself break the curse and you’ll forget everything that has happened,” I whispered pulling him into a hug, “I love you, if Klaus says you can leave, just leave. Don’t worry about your friends as they aren’t the person Klaus needs. He will want to use you to turn you into a hybrid as well but stay safe.”
I held him as tight as I could. He was my brother and as all siblings we didn’t get along but I cared about him and our Mother. If she lost us both so soon after our Father’s death, she would be destroyed.
As I let go of him I slowly made my way back to Klaus to wait what he had planned for me.
“Are you done now?” He questioned.
I merely nodded before hanging my head down so I didn’t have to face my friends or brother.
“So I’m going to make this simple Bonnie. You made the problem so you’ll find a solution. Every time I try to make a hybrid they die, it’s not pretty. So I need you to save my hybrids Bonnie,” He stated grabbing my shoulder.
He bit down onto his own wrist before forcing me to drink the blood from it.
“And for Evangeline’s sake, I’d hurry,” He smirked gripping my head and snapping my neck causing the world to become black.

Suddenly everything came back. I gasped for air as I sat up almost falling from what I had laid on. Two voices cooed trying to calm me down. I looked to my right to see Caroline and Tyler standing there.
“Where am I? What happened?” I croaked sitting up.
“Eva,” Tyler began but the blond from earlier cut him off.
“Don’t be shy about it,” She smirked letting her British accent sound clear.
“Klaus is turning you into a hybrid,” Tyler stated.
“So a vampire, you are in transition,” Caroline added.
Gasping I looked around. How could he do this? My anger and fear were overwhelming which I presumed was part of being a vampire. I could hear and see everything so much clearer now, to most people they’d find this great but I didn’t, it wasn’t horrible.
“Don’t leave out the hard part. If your witch can’t find a way to save you, well you’re practically dead,” The blond smirked.
“You’ll be okay,” Caroline and Tyler repeated as the blond showed us Elena’s phone with a count down on it, revealing only two minutes left.
“I wonder how she’s doing.” She grinned.
The pain slowly began to get worse. I could be barely breath over the torture of the restraint if not attacking my brother to drink his blood. After a moment or so, Klaus entered the classroom we were in.
This caused the blond woman to grab Caroline and Tyler as he approached me.
“Call this a hunch but this is Elena’s blood, drink up,” He smiled with an evil glint in his eye.
“Don’t,” Tyler stated.
“If she doesn’t feed, she’ll die,” He shrugged, “So consider this an experiment.”
I knew I looked un-certain about this as sweat dripped down my face and I was ready to collapse. He smiled encouragingly edging the small vial towards me.
“It’s okay love,” He smiled softly rubbing my back softly.
I was sure he was bipolar. Only a little while ago he snapped my neck and now he was comforting me.
Taking this chance was worth it. I didn’t want to die and leave my family to suffer. Weakly I let my hand reach for the vial. My shaky hand grasped it before bringing it to my lips and boring the liquid down my throat.
Hastily I spat out part of the blood as pain surged over my whole body. I collapsed to the ground as Tyler and Caroline called out my name. Gripping my head I rolled around in pain. It felt as if I was beginning to transform into a werewolf, like on a full moon but not as bad, but it was certainly painful.
Klaus bent down next to me as I rived in pain. I got onto all fours as if I was about to go through my transition and felt part of me change as the pain continued. Without thinking I growled at the man feeling the fangs appear from my gums.
“Well that’s a good sign,” He chuckled.
