Lily's POV
"Can't I go now? I'm bored," I sighed pulling leaves off of an herb.
"Even though you are over 2000 years old you still act like a child," She frowned.
I rolled my eyes. For the past 2000 years I had been roaming free, searching the world for anything new and interesting. Sadly as time went on it got even more boring and there was basically nothing I hadn't done yet. Now I had ended up kidnapped by my almost step-mother.
She surprisingly took it well when she found me other than holding me hostage in her home.
"Tessa, I know you're trying to use me to kill my Father, and I'm all up for that but to be honest I can't be bothered to stay in this cabin until his doppelganger turns up," I groaned.
"No, he's not going to turn up; I'm going to go and retrieve him," She stated looking at her watch, "now."
I sighed as she hastily made her way out of the cabin. Even though this was my chance to leave the cabin, I knew if I did Tessa would find me and bring me back.
~*~ An hour later ~*~
"Lily, say hello to your father's doppelganger," Tessa smiled putting the man on a bed in the corner of the room.
"So he is my descendant?" I questioned, "And he looks identical to my Father?"
"Yes, that is correct," She nodded.
Within ten minutes the man had awakened but still seemed groggy.
"Here," I stated handing him the blood bag Tessa had left me with whilst she went out to get supplies.
"Thanks," He stated quickly drinking from the bag.
"Are you okay?" I questioned him.
He looked up at me with an eyebrow raised. I understood why, he probably presumed I was the one bringing him here, so why would I care about his welfare.
"I'm fine but really why do you care, you were the one that brought me here," He muttered his voice still croaky.
"I didn't bring you here. I was brought here too, I'm Lily by the way," I smiled softly.
"I'm Stefan," He stated.
I smiled at him trying to be friendly and welcoming towards him. It was a rare occasion that I would have to pretend to be extremely nice to help both of us get out of here before Tessa actually hurt one of us.
"I know you are Silas' doppelganger," I smirked.
"You know Silas?" He questioned.
"Of course, Silas and Amara were my parents," I smirked.
I could see the confusion flush over his face before realisation took its place. I let out a chuckle, as I found it quite humorous at the way he stared at me.
"They had a child?" He questioned, "Well it's obvious otherwise Elena and I wouldn't be here. So that also meant you had a child."
"Well aren't you a smart cookie?" I chuckled, "I was young for my age when I had a child, but my husband was murdered by Tessa here, as supposedly he was a rick of the future doppelgangers. It's quite obvious you've felt my pain of seeing the one you love die in front of you."
His head began to hang in despair obviously thinking about this woman that he loved so dearly. I cried for days endlessly when he died and I never thought the pain would end, but it numbed soon enough.
"You may have lost a lover, but I'm sure you never had your baby pried from your arms. Tessa was heartless, well she still is. She wanted my son to make sure that he could have children so then one day a doppelganger would appear. I didn't want that. I thought my Mother was dead, and my Father was buried in a tomb, but Tessa has never been one for sympathy," I shrugged.
I explained my past for little longer until Tessa reappeared. This was my chance to escape and I wasn't going to allow Stefan to stay here to die because of her hands.
I raised my hand pulling my fingers in towards my palm causing her to crouch down to the ground clutching her head.
"Tessa it was nice to have the reunion but to be honest I don't want to see you again," I shrugged using my other hand to hold onto Stefan's. I pulled him out of the small cabin still inflicting pain onto the witch.
Although she wasn't a vampire, she'd heal quickly as she was strong enough but other than that, she'd be back to normal soon.
We began off into the woods doing our best in finding our way around but I had no sense of direction. Out of nowhere I was tackled to the ground. I had been pinned on my back with my hands above my head. A man held me down, and he looked like he was in his early twenties.
"Why did you kidnap my brother?" He hissed.
I pushed my wrists up rolling my eyes as I stood up.
"I didn't kidnap him. I just saved him from Tessa, or you may know her as Qetsiyah and she is probably on our tails with her magic," I shrugged.
"Who are you?" He questioned.
"Lily. Silas and Amara's daughter, and I presume your ancestor, it's nice to meet you," I smiled, "Now can we move, I've survived 2000 years and I'd rather not be killed by her."
We all set off together as I was questioned. Damon, Stefan's older brother seemed like the more mysterious and more mischievous of the two.
"So what exactly are you, you can't be a vampire and a witch?" Stefan asked.
"I'm immortal darling. Obviously you've met my Daddy, and of course I'm like him, a witch and I'm immortal," I chuckled, "But I won't use my powers for bad like he does, but Damon sweetheart, think about me like that again and I will kill you," I smirked.
He simply rolled his eyes as we carried on walking until we reached a car. I presumed it was Damon's car as Stefan had been locked up with Tessa. The two men got in the front whilst I got in the back, as I leant forward to lean my elbows onto the two chairs in the front.
"Do you mind?" Damon questioned, "No one invited you."
"Well Damon, you leave me here, and I will be taken back by Tessa, where I will help her do a spell to find Stefan so she can then wipe my Father's memory. So you'll take to wherever you live and I'll be Stefan's personal body guard," I shrugged.
Damon simply rolled his eyes causing me to chuckle.
