I'm Ebony Saltzman, I have lived with my Grandfather for as long as I can remember but when he passed away I had to move in with my Dad. My Dad visited every weekend but now I'm actually living with him, Alaric Saltzman. He lives in this small town in Virginia, Mystic Falls, but I've been told so many weird things about it. Could they be true could there really be vampires and werewolves in this town? Of course not, their not real, well that's what you think, I'm a werewolf, so what's the chances of vampires too?

I'm Kol Mikaelson and I am an original vampire. My brother Klaus, is trying to build a hybrid army, so he is killing werewolves un-sure in how to successfully turn them into hybrids. Only one has been successful but he isn't sure how it happened. One thing I find wrong with that. One of the werewolves he is targeting is Ebony, she is beautiful. I think I love her, and that's rare for a vampire especially my age. I need to stop him from hurting her. But what if she doesn't like me, should I let him turn her into a slave? 

I'm Jeremy Gilbert, there isn't much special about me only I can see the ghosts of my two dead girlfriends. I'm not very lucky when it comes to girlfriends but there's this girl, Ebony. She's the daughter of my guardian and teacher but she actually looks like she cares. I don't know what to do, especially since there's this weird vampire hanging around her and my sister is whispering things in my ear. Life's confusing.
