This secret's safe with me
Oh, how you make me believe
That you won't say a word
As long as I don't breathe.

Scott's P.O.V.

1 year and a half ago...

I looked down at the shocked Angel and just waited for her to say something. I was worried, worried that she might get hurt again by Matt, worried that he'd attack her when she wouldn't even think about it, worried that he'd do to her the same thing he did to that poor girl. I had to protect her...

"W-what?" she choked out, still in a shocked state. Her body was frozen, her my mouth slightly open, looking at me like I had just blown her mind. "B-but he was-s gone h-he wasn-n't at school anym-more. H-how?"

I understood her confusion, I felt the same. I didn't understand at first when I saw him enter the school this morning but then I asked the principal about it and he explained. It seemed like Matt is back to school to finish the last years here and then he's going away. I don't really understand how all of that works but I can't fight against an unknown thing.

"He's back to finish the last years." was all I told her. Her eyes were still schoked and she backed away slowly, hitting her and falling on it.

A single tear rolled down her cheek as she closed her eyes, leaving me standing in the same position not knowing what to say to her "He's going to come for me, I know it."

"No. No sweetheart, you're gonna be ok. I am here, see? I'll always be here..." I went to hug her tight, trying to relax her. I knew he'll come for her too, although I didn't want to make the situation worse, she needed to be alright.

She started crying and I just geld her, silently telling her everything will be ok, that he won't hurt her, but I wasn't so sure of that. Time has passed, she was still crying and I was still holding her tight, never going to let her slip away. She fell asleep after awhile, after muttering a weak sleepy 'Don't lie'.

It was silent... I put her gently on the unmade bed and set her head on the comfortable pillow, cleaning her face of the dried tears. Her beautiful hair covered her eyes and I brushed it away slowly, not wanting to wake her. She needed the rest more than anything and I wan't going to take that from her.

I could feel the worry in me going away only to be replaced by my anger towards everyone that fucked her up. I couldn't understand how someone could do something to an innocent girl like her. She did nothing wrong but she's still treated like everything she does is bad. If they could understand her, take a little bit of time to find out about the real her, about what she can be...

I was going to kill anyone that'll do something to her, starting with Matt. I think being away from everything made him get in his mind a bit, or so I hope. I slowly stood up, kissed her forehead and walked towards the door. I was about to touch the door knob when something appeared in front of me.

I was pushed backwards in the wall by an inhuman force and as my back hit it I heard a small 'crack' and I fell to the ground, holding my head in my hands from the pain. I looked up only to see a girl in front of me, probably the same age as Angel, watching me like I was crazy and she didn't just push me in the fucking wall.

"Who are you?"I asked confused and a little bit scared. There was a girl in Angel's room and she came out of thin air. Of course I was scared, I didn't know how to explain that, I couldn't.

"What were you thinking about doing a second ago?" she asked, sounding angry. I just stared at her, not answering.

"Were you just about to leave her here, to wake up alone, after you held her until she fell asleep? What do you think she's going to think about that?" I didn't. I didn't think about it. I was about to say something when she talked again. "If you care about her then fucking stay with her, don't leave her alone like everyone did, ok? Stay. Here. If when I come back you're not here you'll pay for it." were her last words before she exited the room and leaving me there still confused.
