Being the twin sister of Thor, I had seen many people try, and fail, to pick up my brother's mighty hammer. However, I had never been so amused watching a group of people try.

"Idiots." Loki muttered from next to me on the couch as I laughed.
"Sister, must you encourage this?"

"Come on, you know I do." I smiled at him as Tony stepped up towards the hammer.

"You might have beaten me last time..." He muttered and I brought the glass of Asgardian wine up to my lips, smirking as the mortal struggled. Thor looked very pleased by his friend's failure.
Next up was Steve, who almost had it, but gave up. Everyone tried and failed, even Natasha had a go. Their attempts were all funny, but not as funny as Clint's. The poor guy had tried to lift the hammer, but lost his grip and accidentally hit himself in the face, knocking himself out.
Naturally, I burst into a fit of giggles at the scene and even Loki looked at least a little amused.

"It's an Asgardian thing. It's got to be!" The boy- Peter- spoke up.
"Maybe because none of us have been to Asgard, we can't lift it."

"The kid has a point." Tony nodded and I rolled my eyes, before kicking Loki.

"Come on, little brother. Your turn." I looked at him then at Mjölnir, causing him to scoff.

"No. I am not making a fool of myself for your amusement." He shook his head and I smirked.

"Fine." I shrugged, before taking another drink.
"Hey did I ever tell you guys about the time Loki-"

"Alright, enough." Loki glared at me and I held my hands up.
"I'll try and pick up the stupid hammer. Just keep your mouth shut."

"Aww, but I wanted to hear the story!" Tony whined and Thor chuckled as our brother glared at him. Loki tried, and failed, to pick up the hammer, just like everyone else.

"So, if being Asgardian isn't the trick, what is?" Bruce asked and I stood up to get another drink.

"There is no trick." Thor spoke, his back turned to me as he opened the palm of his hand.
"You're all just-"

"Not worthy?" I finished as Mjölnir flew right passed my brother and into my open hand. Everyone in the room looked shocked, especially Thor and Loki.
"What?"

"How?" Tony asked and Thor's shocked expression changed into one of pride.

"Because she is worthy." Thor grinned, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.
"Now, dear sister, if you'll give me my hammer back..."

"Nope." I grinned and his face fell as Loki chuckled.

"Come on, Thor. How stupid can you be? Y/N holds the hammer, she's not giving you it back for a long time." Loki pointed out and Thor's eyes widened as I moved away from him.

"Y/N, get back here!" He yelled. I was faster than him, thankfully and the crowd of Avengers cheered my name. After a few minutes of running around and Thor shouting not-so-polite words at me, I began to feel bad and decided to give it back to him.

"Little sister, that was not wise." Thor stated, glaring at me as I dropped down on the couch next to Natasha.

"Little sister? We're the same age Thor, we're twins." I reminded and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"I am 7 and a half minutes older than you." He stated, choosing his arms over his chest, having no idea Loki was mimicking him.

"And I am smarter, faster and more cunning than you are. What's your point?" I asked, making the group laugh.

"You're not going to win." Natasha laughed as she put her arm over my shoulders.
"She's also more stubborn than you are."
