Y/N's P.O.V.

I shifted in my bed slightly, feeling myself waking up. I groaned in annoyance, lifting the covers over my head and placing my hand on the arm around my waist.

"Good morning." Steve muttered, pressing a kiss to the back of my head. I ignored him, trying to fall back asleep, but clearly he had other plans.
He pulled me back against his chest, moving so that he was also completely under the covers, pressing small butterfly kisses all over the back of my neck and shoulders.

"Steve..." I warned, attempting to turn around, but he held onto me tighter, refusing to let me. Kid lips moved onto the side of my neck, the kisses staying soft and constant, making me squirm.
"Steve..." It was supposed to be a warning, but it came out as a childish whine, making him chuckle.

"Yes, Y/N?" He released his hold on me just enough for me to turn and face him. I was about to tell him to go away so I could go back to sleep, but instead his lips pressed against mine and his hand trailed up and down my waist.
The kiss itself was soft at first, but that quickly changed when my boyfriend decided to apply more pressure, moving his lips against mine. I kissed back, one of my hands gripping onto Steve's tee.
He broke the kiss quite suddenly, moving back to my neck, peppering it with little wet kisses.

"I want to go back to sleep." I whined and Steve stopped, hovering over me slightly, a small smirk on his lips. His hand on my waist stopped, holding onto me and before I could stop him, he was tickling me. I squirmed underneath him, but he didn't stop, not until I was gasping for breath, both of us laughing.
His arms wrapped around me again as he laid on top of me, pressing a small kiss to my jaw.
"You're lucky I love you."

"The luckiest." He whispered in response, making me smile. I looked down at his head resting on my chest, bringing my hand up and playing with his fluffy hair. We stayed like that for a short while, enjoying each other's company.

"Did you enjoy your run?" Every morning, Steve went for a morning run with Sam and Bucky, before showering and getting m into bed with me. Of course, no one else knew that Steve would come into my room, we kept our relationship a secret, neither of us ready to confront the others about it.

"Yeah, Bucky almost beat me in a race. Sam just sat to the side and... well, I don't think he was happy with our showing off." I laughed a little at that.

"Sounds like Sam." Steve hummed in response.
I had been best friends with Sam Wilson for as long as I could remember, it was thanks to him that I became a part of the Avengers and I met Steve. We both worked on the EXO-7 Falcon project and we both own a pair of wings.
"What?" I asked when I noticed Steve looking at me.

"You're beautiful." I rolled my eyes at that, Steve running his hand up and down my side again. He trailed his fingers over my thigh and I lifted my knee up, before flipping us over, so that I was straddling his waist.
"What's wrong? Don't you like to hear the truth?"

"Shut up." I muttered, feeling my cheeks warming up. I leaned down and kissed Steve and he immediately kissed back, just as I broke the kiss.
"I need to get up-"

"No." Both of his hands landed on my waist and there was a determined look in his eyes.
"We're staying in bed all day."

"Steve, we can't. What if someone comes looking for me and they see us... like this?" A smirk tugged at his lips and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"What have you done?"

"As far as anyone is concerned, you and I are out training for the day. We left as soon as I got back from my run." I looked at him in disbelief.
"What? Would you prefer to go to the meeting Tony has planned or listen to Thor talk about Asgard for the millionth time?"

"What about food?" I asked challengingly.
"We can't stay in here all day without-"

"Look behind you." I turned my head, seeing a picnic basket. Steve sat up, knocking me off of his waist and into his lap.

"You really planned this out didn't you?" I asked softly, looking at him. He nodded his head and I smiled at him slightly.

"I know you've been stressed and you've got a lot coming up in the next few weeks, so I thought I'd give you a day off." I felt my heart melt in my chest at that.
Steve tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead. I thanked him quietly, wrapping my arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.
"Anything for my best girl."
