I just have so much love for Fenris and I thought this was cute...

Y/N's P.O.V.

I'm not entirely sure what happened.
It started when I was walking down the street and I bumped into someone. Someone in a dark suit. I began to apologise, before I looked at him and realised who it was.

"Loki?!" I hadn't seen the God since he attacked New York in 2012. A lot had happened since then. Sokovia, Ultron, my best friend, Bruce Banner, going missing, the war between the Avengers (the war that I decided to stay out of) and last, but not least, dropping off the map. I wanted nothing to do with the feud going on with my friends, so when Thor asked me to help him and his brother find their father, I agreed.
We went on an adventure like any other. I saw Sakkar, where we found Bruce and I helped fight Hela and bring down Asgard, except... I died.
Or I thought I died.
At some point during the fight against Hela and her army of undead, I fell from the rainbow bridge.
Yet, somehow, I survived, waking up on a strange planet with a wounded and half-dead giant dog.

"Y/N...? Is that really you?" Bruce looked at me in disbelief as I looked around the new Avengers facility in approval.
It had been a year since I had run off with Thor and Loki and I was finally back on Earth.

"Hey, Banner." I smiled tiredly. My friend almost ran forward, wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug.
A low growling from behind me made Bruce freeze and I let out a small laugh.
"It's okay." I looked back at the animal behind me.
Thankfully, I was able to use my magic to shrink down the wolf, but he was still big. The top of his head was roughly as high as my shoulder.
"Bruce, you remember Fenris, right?" The wolf let out another growl as Bruce gulped nervously.

"Yeah. He's... smaller than I remember." Bruce muttered and I shrugged.

"I figured walking around with a 15 foot wolf was a bad idea, so I worked my magic." I reached my hand out and the wolf immediately nuzzled it.
"You're a good boy, aren't you? The best boy in all the realms." He licked my hand and I laughed a little.

"Y/N, how are you here?" Bruce asked, eyeing the wolf suspiciously.

"Are the others here?" Bruce nodded his head, cautiously taking a step towards the building.
Before long, the Avengers I knew, and some that I didn't, were all called for a meeting.

"Y/N?" Thor asked in disbelief as I stepped into the room.
"You died."

"Yeah." I smiled as Fenris followed me into the room. Everyone's eyes widened and the wolf let out a growl at the sight of the Asgardian princes.
"Hey, it's okay." I petted him and he immediately calmed down.

"I thought Witches had black cats, not huge black terrifying wolves?" Tony muttered and I let out a small chuckle.

"It's good to see you too, Tin Can." I smiled a genuine smile. Despite not knowing more than a few of the people in the room, I felt at home.

"You want to explain?" Nat asked carefully and I nodded, taking a seat in a nearby armchair. Fenris sat by my side and I told them everything I knew, which really wasn't much.

"My magic has always been strong. It must have protected me when I fell and it took a long time to heal us both." I looked at the wolf next to me and he rested his heavily head on my lap.
"I wanted to get back here, more than anything. Teleportation hasn't always been my strongest skill, but I practiced. I practiced again and again. A year ago I struggled to teleport across a room, I never imagined being able to teleport across realms."

"It shouldn't even be possible." Loki muttered, shaking his head.
"I've never heard of anything like it."

"The little witch has always been stronger than she looks." Clint smiled supportively.
"It's good to have you back, kid."
Tony decided a party had to be held to celebrate my return and he immediately got to work, arranging more than enough food and drink for everyone.

"Is that thing dangerous?" A voice asked and I looked at the man in confusion.

"Only if you piss him off." I replied honestly.
"Sorry, who are you?"

"Scott Lang. Sorry, I'm a big fan of yours Miss L/N. The whole magic thing you do is really cool." He grinned at me, but his eyes kept falling back down to the wolf.
"Can I...?" I nodded my head and he hesitantly held his hand out, letting Fenris smell him. The wolf looked at me, as if asking for permission, and I nodded my head.
Before I knew it, almost everyone was giving Fenris the most attention he had ever gotten and the giant wolf was loving it.

"Giant dog?" Nat looked at me with a smirk.

"Giant Asgardian demonic hound." I smiled proudly.
"He tried to kill us, but he's an adorable pupper really. His last owner, Thor and Loki's sister, apparently only saw that he could be used as a weapon, but he's a big softy." Nat chuckled slightly.
"My magic is keeping him small for now, but this place is pretty big. I'll let him grow back up to his full size soon and he can run around and enjoy himself."

"Full size?" Tony asked in disapproval and I smiled innocently.
"I am not cleaning up after him when he uses my lawn as a toilet." I saluted and Steve looked at me with a smile.

"You've always been good at giving second chances." He smiled, before glancing at Loki.
Thor, Loki and Bruce were all a far distance from the wolf, speaking in whispers.

"It's really good to have you back, Y/N." Nat smiled, wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

"It's good to be back."
