Part 2

Y/N's P.O.V.

"You really do need to stop collapsing in my presence." A smooth voice spoke as I shifted on the sofa, a whimper escaping my throat as a dull pain shot through my ribs.
I opened my eyes, finding myself in an unfamiliar room with a man, who was hiding behind a book.

"Who are you?" I asked and he chuckled lowly, closing the book and placing it in his lap. I sucked in a sharp breath, looking at the God in front of me. He had on a dark green shirt and a black tie, with black pants, his hair looking surprisingly messy, as if he had ran his hands through it multiple times.

"Remember me now, love?" He asked with a small smirk and I forced myself to sit up, despite the pain.

"Loki." I whispered, not knowing how to feel.
I was terrified, he had tried to kill my friends on multiple occasions, but I also had questions.
He hummed at the sound of his name, moving his book onto the table between us, before picking up a cup.

"I don't believe I caught your name last time we met." He smirked and my throat felt unbelievably dry.

"Y/N." I whispered in response, but I wasn't sure why.
He repeated my name several times, his smirk never fading.

"Well, Y/N, would you care to tell me how you found me? Or why you showed up on my doorstep half beaten to death? Maybe both?" He looked at me expectantly and I hesitated.

"I don't know how I found you." I replied honestly.
"I had no intention to, I was trying to get to the med bay-"

"And you somehow ended up outside my door?" He scoffed and I glared at him.
"Fine." He held his hands up.
"What happened to you?"

"Why do you care?" I shot back, making him chuckle.

"Oh, I don't." He shrugged, taking a sip of his drink.
"But I don't know if you've noticed, but we're connected by a little thing called fate and there's nothing either of us can do about it." He placed the drink down next to his book.
"So, you can tell me who hurt you, or I can kick you out into the storm. Your choice, love."

"Training." I reluctantly replied and his eyes widened slightly.
"Natasha kicked my ass and I let her. Actually, I encouraged it."

"Why in the Nine Realms would you do that?" He seemed genuinely disgusted by my answer and I couldn't help but smirk a little.

"Because I heal fast." I held up my hand, looking at some bruising on my wrist.
"Within a 24 hours, my injuries heal up and I'm fine."

"Really?" He almost seemed amused.
"Because you've been unconscious for 3 days now."

"You're lying." I looked at him carefully and he shrugged.
"You're literally the God of Mischief and Lies."

"Yes, but why would I lie about what day it is?" I looked at him carefully, before I attempted to summon my phone, but it didn't work.

"What have you done to me?" I glared at him.
"I can't..."

"My magic stopped working too." He muttered distastefully.
"It stopped just minutes before you knocked on my door and collapsed onto me. I was hoping you'd have an explanation." I shook my head, no, and he sighed.
"Well that's frustrating. Maybe this is fate's way of getting us to stop avoiding each other."

"Shut up with all that fate bullshit, will you?" I stood up, holding onto my side.
"I'm leaving."

"Good luck." Loki muttered and I looked back at him in confusion, before opening the door and coming face-to-face with a nasty storm, much worse than the one I landed in a few days ago.
I closed the door again and looked at Loki.
"Looks like you're stuck here with me, love."

"Stop calling me that." I muttered.

"Fine." He stood up, coming over to me.
"Why don't you tell me a little about yourself?" I scoffed at that.
"Am I not allowed to get to know the person I'm eternally tied to? Tell me anything, like what your magic is like, or how you became an Avenger."

"Go to Hell." I muttered, walking passed him. I sat down and picked up his book, ignoring his smirk as I pulled my legs up to my chest.

"You'll talk to me eventually. This storm is due to last another couple of days, are you sure you can ignore me for that long?" I didn't even look up, opening the first page of the book.
