Aiden's POV

The sound of early birds chirping awakens me from my deep slumber. My eyes slowly flutter open as I look around the room. I was still curled in a ball at the far side of my room. Slowly, I rise from my position on the floor and cross the room to my closet. I quickly change into a pair of sweats and a band t-shirt before walking out of my room. I walk into my living room not expecting one body sprawled across my one of my couches while the other slept in a upright sitting position. The one with long brown hair, who was sprawled across the couch, fell asleep with the laptop on his chest.

I slowly cross over and tap the touch pad, lighting up the screen. Maybe I could find some identification or simply see what he was looking at before he fell asleep. On one tab he was signed out of twitter, the next one is of pictures titled 'House of Horrors' and lastly was a Google search. I prefer not to look at the house of horrors so I press on the Google tab and look at the screen.

'How to help someone get their memories back' was typed into the search box. How did they know I can't remember past three weeks ago? I back away before turning to the curly haired one who chased after me yesterday. He had the look of disgust and hatred plastered across his face. That probably looked like me when I walked in and first saw them passed out on my couches.

Should I threaten them to leave or should I just wait for them to wake up and get answers. I sigh, walking into the kitchen making breakfast for the two of them. I should at least be kind unlike them. I mean seriously. Who in the right of mind would stay at a random girls house unless they wanted something that wasn't true love. I push the thought out of my mind and finish making the breakfast for them. The smell of pancakes and bacon wafts through the air, making me stick my nose in the air and smell.

I walk back into the room to see the curly haired one now cringing with tears sliding down his cheek. He must be having a nightmare. Crossing the living room, I sit down next to him and reach up, wiping away his tears. At my touch, his face suddenly lightens and he leans into my hand. I sigh, smiling gently. Maybe all they want to do is help...

I stand and back away from them, tucking my hands into my pockets. "Um? Guys?" I question, looking down. Ever so gently, they both begin to wake from their slumber. When their eyes finally look up at me, confusion flashes across their faces. "Breakfast is ready if you want some" I say, turning and walking into the kitchen.

Not long after me, they follow in, piling their plates. My head was to filled with questions to be hungry. I needed to know what was going on. "Are you not going to eat?" the long haired one asks. I shake my head and look up at him. "No. I'm not hungry" I simply reply, sitting in a chair at the dining room table. They soon follow and sit across from me, eating awkwardly. "I need answers" I demand, looking across at them.

They both look at each other before turning back to me. "You're probably really confused about all of this" the straight haired one starts, taking another bite of his breakfast. "Yeah! Of course I am! A random guy followed after me yelling my name! Then when I wake up this morning, not only was the same guy here but a new one was also passed out on my couch. You looked up 'How to help someone get their memories back'. How do you know that I can't remember up to three weeks ago? What the hell is going on?" I demand.

"Aiden please calm down" the curly haired one starts as I lay my head on the table, trying not to flip out. "I'm Adam and that's Ty. About a month ago you were kidnapped by your mother. She abused you and even tried to kill you" the curly haired boy says. I lift up my head and look at them.

"How am I suppose to believe you? It would've been different if you found me 3 weeks ago when I didn't know anything about this town and needed someone. Now, for all I know you could be apart of a sex trafficking association" I reply, crossing my arms. Adam sighs and looks down at his lap. "How do you think you got all of those bruises and scars from? Your mother caused them" Ty says in a beggars tone, trying to get me to believe him.

"Until you show me proof then I can't trust you" I say, watching as Adam's face drops completely. Are they telling me the truth? "What relations did I have with you?" I suddenly question. Adam's head shoots up, looking into my eyes longingly. "I was your best friend and you were kind of like a little sister to me" Ty answers, turning to Adam.

"W-Well.. I was your best friend for years when we were little. We had grown really close until your mom suddenly packed you up and left. When I finally found you again we grew even closer and started dating. Not even a few days later your mom kidnapped you. She beat you senseless and starved you by the looks of it. I have yet to find out how she suppressed your memories but she did. I'm sorry for overwhelming you yesterday.. I just thought you were dead and when I saw you I wanted to hug you and never let go again" Adam says, his eyes never leaving mine.

Without thinking, I stand and walk into the other room pacing. Air refused to fill my lungs as I place my hands on my head. 'In and out Aiden. Breathe in and out' my mind screams. "Aiden?" Adam questions, walking towards me. "N-No get back" I order, tears starting to stream down my face. Why am I acting like this about a stranger?

My mind refused the thought but my heart yearned for him to hold me. "Please. Let me help. I know what calms you down. Please" he begs. I don't even know myself what calms me down. Slowly, I nod as he comes rushing to my side. Gently, he pulls me to him, holding me tightly in his arms. Adam sits on the couch, pulling me down with him. He slides his hand through my hair before leaning down to my ear.

"I know you don't understand now honey. I know this is a lot to take in at once. Just know that I love you with all of my heart. I won't give up on helping you get your memories back" he whispers, sending chills racing down my back. I bawl into his chest while he begins to hum softly. Steadily, I begin to calm down, taking in his scent. I have smelled this scent before. I remember this smell. I pull away from Adam and look up into his eyes.

"Can I be taken back to my old house and my old place where I was living? I want to see if I can get my memories back" I ask, hope filling my heart. Adam smiles and nods while Ty packs up his laptop. "You lived with me to get away from your mom and your other house is quite gory. Are you sure you want to go see it?" Adam questions. I look up into his eyes and nod. "If you know how to calm me down without me even knowing what to do, then that's good enough for me to trust you right now. Don't make me regret it Adam" I warn. His face lights up while Ty just smiles big. I smile easily in return. I could be getting my memories back. I hope "D" doesn't find out...
