I hope you guys love me. This is the longest chapter I have ever wrote in a book. Enjoy the chapter! Or I should say the first half of it ;)

Aiden's POV

"Well here comes the fun part. Telling the two fangirls in there" I say, stopping Adam outside of the front door, smiling. He smiles and nods laughing. Before opening the door he pulls me into a tight hug and kisses my cheek. I blush madly as he takes my hand, walking with me inside. At the sound of the door opening, both Tyler and Ty's heads snapped to us. A smile flashed across their faces as they notice us, hand in hand. "Adam got a girlfriend!" Tyler shrieks, making me blush and Ty burst into laughter. "And I got the job at a music shop about 5 minutes away from here" I add. "Nice!" Ty remarks, standing and walking to us. He pats Adam on the back and hugs me gently. "Now that we know that the two love birds are finally together, I think I'm going to go to bed" Ty says, yawning. Tyler nods in agreement, walking to the extra guest bedroom. How many bedrooms did Adam have? "I think we should get to bed also" Adam whispers, squeezing my hand gently. I nod and smile, walking with him to our bedrooms. "Adam" I say, stopping him from going into his room. "C-Can you stay with me again? Being in your arms protects me from the nightmares" I add, looking down at my feet in embarrassment. "Anything for you" he replies, kissing my cheek, then walking into his room to change.

I walk into my room and pull out a old casino shirt and black shorts, changing into them. I take another look in the mirror at my arms and legs. The bruises were almost gone and the cuts were just a faded memory. Well, except for the scars that were never going to leave my memories or my skin. "Aiden" Adam calls, walking in and looking at me. "Where did you get that shirt?" he questions, confused. "It was my mother's, before she started beating me she said use this as a security blanket. The casino was shut down years ago but never was torn down. I'm pretty sure it still lies in Southern Washington" I reply, smiling down at the memory. His eyes then trail along the bruises and scars. He smiles gently, walking up to me and wrapping his arms along my waist. "They're almost gone" he says, smiling still. I smile back and nod, still looking at them. A sudden yawn appears as I stretch gently. "C'mon sleepy. Let's get you to bed so you can have enough sleep for your first day of work tomorrow" Adam chuckles, picking me up bridal style and walking me towards the bed. He laid me down gently before sliding in himself. I curl up into his chest, smiling big. I finally was happy. From the inside out. Bring it world. See if you can kill my mood! I smiled one last time at my thought before falling asleep in his arms.

"Wake up babe" Adam whispers, kissing my cheek. I groan and roll over blushing. "Come on. You need to get ready for work" he chuckles, wrapping his arms around me pulling me to him. I roll back over, with my eyes still closed, and begin to poke his face everywhere. "Um? What are you doing?" he questions, laughing lightly. "Looking for the dang snooze button" I reply, opening my eyes a bit. He smiles and kisses my hand lightly before pulling me up into his lap. I smile big and look up at him. Adam smiles back a smile that melts my heart instantly. "Do I have to go to work? I just want to stay in your arms forever" I sigh. Adam chuckles and nods. "Sadly yes, but, it will only be for a few hours then we can continue this later" he replies, pecking my nose. I giggle and blush, getting up. "Wait come here!" Adam exclaims, smiling. I walk back over to him as he pulls me to him. "Take a picture with me" he says, holding up my phone. I sigh and smile, climbing behind him and posing. He takes the picture and sets it as my lock screen before I kiss him on the cheek, getting up once again.

I rush into the bathroom taking a soothing but quick shower. I walk into my room and see that Adam had left. He's probably recording. Oh no. What about his fans. Ty mentioned that there were a lot. I wonder how they would take us being together or even think of me. I shrugged the thought away and found a pair of slightly torn black jeans and a white tank top with the Fall Out Boy logo across the front in colorful reds and purples. I quickly change and put on makeup before throwing on my leather jacket and combat boots. By the time that I had finished getting ready, my hair was dry and fell perfectly. I run a brush through my bangs one last time as I rush out of my room and to Adam's, knocking. "Are you ready?" he calls, questioning. "Yes! Now come on! I'm going to be late" I reply, giggling. Adam opens the door, looking behind him. His head slowly drifts my way and his eyes become wider. "You look amazing Aiden" he gawks. I blush and take his hand pulling him into the living room and out the door.

"Good luck!" Adam called out as I kissed him on the cheek and hopped out of the car. I smile back at him before walking into the music shop. Hopefully today won't be that bad. "Hello!" a guy with longish black hair, swooped to the side exclaimed, standing behind the counter. "Hey" I reply with a smile walking up to him. "Can I help you with anything?" he questions. I smile and extend a hand to him. "You must be Alex. I'm Aiden" I say smiling. He takes it, laughing. "Sorry. I thought you were a customer" he says, still laughing. I smile and walk to the back, putting my stuff away. "So what do we do around here?" I ask, walking back to where Alex stood. "We stock shelves with cd's and help customers. That's basically it" he replies, flipping through a comic. I nod and pull Adam's earbuds from my pocket, plugging them into my phone. I saw them lying on the counter earlier so I decided to borrow them for today... or maybe until he realizes they're gone. I smirk to myself and find a chair with rollers on the bottom of it. I sit and roll up to Alex, giggling.

"I've been looking for that chair!" he exclaims, making me laugh harder. I press play on my phone and hum along to any song that plays. Being the weird person I am, I began to spin in circles over and over. After a few hours of talking to Alex, stocking cd's, and helping customers, it was finally time to get ready to head home. Well technically it was thirty minutes before closing and if no one appeared while we were getting ready, we could head home. I quickly throw my new Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy cd's into my bag while picking up a few more items. "No one's here! We can leave!" I exclaim happily from the back room. Alex laughs but soon stops by the sound of the bell from the front door opening. "Oh! Welcome!" Alex says, trying to act happy. I sigh and walk out, looking at my feet. I adjust my bag and fix my jacket, getting ready to leave after this customer. The customer cleared her throat as I look up. I froze in my tracks as my blood ran cold.

"Mother?" I ask, my heart rate sky rocketing. "Hello Aiden. Did you miss me?" she asks, staring into my eyes. I suddenly become lightheaded and reach out grabbing Alex by the arm. "Please tell me she's not there" I choke out, trying not to cry. "Why? What's going on?" Alex asks, confused. "Nothing you need to worry about dear. I just think she and I need to have a little stroll" she spits out at me. I look at Alex and at her. "N-No" I say back, trying to balance myself back up. I couldn't do it. The floor came rushing up to me as I squeeze my eyes shut. She can't be here. She's dead. Her blurred face crosses across my face as she grips my arm, pulling me up from the floor. "Come Aiden" she beckons, pulling me to the door. "NO!" I yell, pulling my arm away. Alex walks out from behind the counter and stands in front of me. "Ma'am I'm going to need to ask you to leave. Unless you want the police to become involved" Alex threatens. I grip the back of his arm, shaking. My mother looks at me with evil filling her eyes before turning and walking out the door. "Aiden are you alright?" Alex questions, tilting my face up to look at him. I nod. "She abused me when my father left years ago. She then got in a recent car wreck which supposedly killed her. Now she's alive and after me" I choke out. Alex nods and pulls me to him tightly. "Aiden are you ready? What happened?" I hear Adam's voice call as he rushes over to us. I pull away from Alex and hug Adam tightly.

"She's alive. She came into the store and tried to take me. Alex stood up for me and she left" I say as Adam wraps his arms around me tight. "Thank you for sticking up for her man. I owe you one" Adam says as Alex smiles and nods. Adam slowly walks out of the store, hand in hand with me. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the car just as a loud bang sounds from the right of me. I jump watching Adam fall to the floor with shards of a broken beer bottle next to him. "Adam!" I exclaim, looking at my mother who had a smug look on her face. "I told you that I would finish this. Now get in the car Aiden" she says, raising a gun at me. I look down at Adam's out cold body one last time before climbing into the car. My mother slides into the drivers seat, after getting Adam's keys, and starts the ignition. Mother raises the gun and points it at me, causing me to not be able to leave the car. I look through the windshield and see Alex running out of the shop, seeing Adam. He stands shocked as his eyes glance over to me. Fear runs over him as he rushes towards the car. My mother pulls away quick, leaving him in the dust. I look back at him crying, watching my new, happy life disappear into the distance. "Just to make sure you're not going to escape or see where we're going" my mother starts, hitting my head hard causing me to black out in the passenger seat.
