Adam's POV
Dawn and I continued our walk throughout the park until we came across the bench where I had found Aiden. Tears filled my eyes as I walk quickly by it. Dawn speed up and started to comfort me again. Why was Dawn acting so nice to me? She was never this nice even when we were together. "Dawn what is this about?" I question, stopping her in the middle of the park. "What do you mean?" she asks, her voice straining. Now I know for sure she is hiding something. "Explain. Now" I demand, becoming angry. "I just wanted to help you through this. I told you I heard about Aiden.. and" she starts as I cut her off. "How did you hear about Aiden exactly? We told no one that we were even dating! How would you know she suddenly disappeared?" I ask, yelling. Dawn stays quiet, trying to find words. Maybe she knows where she is. Maybe Dawn is helping her mother! My eyes grow as she takes off in a sprint. I chase after her, keeping a good distance. I continue to follow her until she turns a sharp left. I turn the corner also and look around. She's gone! How is she gone she was just right here!
My eyes filled with anger as I rush home to the guys. "TY! TYLER! ALEX!" I scream, barging into the living room. They turn and face me, looking at me as if they just saw a ghost. "What? What happened?" I ask, walking closer. They were looking down at a picture on my phone. "Adam I don't think you want to see this" Ty says, standing up, blocking me from my phone. "No. I need to" I say, going around him to my phone. On the phone was a picture of my Aiden, brutally beaten and depressed. She looks like she is barely hanging on to life anymore. Tears stream down my face as I cover my mouth with my hands. My Aiden was giving up... "Ty, Dawn is also behind this. Will that help with anything?" I ask, hoping for something. Ty's eyes grow as he nods, running to his room. He soon returns with his laptop, clicking on a few icons that I never realized was on his desktop. "What are you on?" I question, confused. Alex, Tyler and I look over his shoulder as he clicks on another tab. "Why didn't I think of checking this before? I bugged Dawn's phone while you and her were together. When we lived with Team Crafted we decided that it was time to try to prove that she was cheating on you. Well hopefully it's still in her phone" Ty says as my heart rate jumps. I might have a chance to get my Aiden back. Ty keeps clicking on different icons until what looks like a map appeared. A small blinking red dot also appears, indicating her location. "It says her phone is somewhere in Southern Washington. That gives us a clue. Now where is a place that we know of in Southern Washington" Ty says, causing the room to go silent.
My eyes soon drift to the seat that I sat in earlier. I stand and run over to it picking up Aiden's shirt, rembering the night when she explained it to me.
~"It was my mother's, before she started beating me she said use this as a security blanket. The casino was shut down years ago but never was torn down. I'm pretty sure it still lies in Southern Washington"~
"I know where they're keeping her! Look up the address of this casino!" I order Ty, holding up the shirt. He nods and quickly clicks on several different things on his laptop. "Got it. Let's go" he replies. We all stand and rush out of the house and out to the car. Hold on Aiden we're coming.
Aiden's POV
Dawn came back with anger growing on her face. What did Adam do? "You stupid slut!" she screams, running into the room and punching me across the face. I wince and grab the side of my face that was impacted by her fist. That was going to leave a mark. "How could Adam love someone like you?! You're worthless! Nothing!" she screams kicking my ribs. Those were definitely broken. She places her foot on top of my broken ribs making me wince. "I will make him love me if it is the last thing I do!" she screams, pulling out a blade. My heart sinks, seeing the reflective piece in her hand. I really am going to die right here right now. I love you Adam. Don't miss me too much. "Dawn!" my mother yells, pushing her off of me. I sigh and lean up easily. "We need her. If you want to be with Adam then you're going to have to be patient. If not, then I'll go downtown and report you to the police myself. You're apart of this also so you need to learn patience" my mother says, looking at her. She slowly nods, glaring at me.
I notice something metal and shiny next to me. Dawn's phone. I suddenly pretend to lose my balance, fall over on top of the phone and whimper. My mother walks out of the room while Dawn walks up to me one more time. "Here. How about we open up these old memories instead" she spits out, cutting on top of my scars that lay on my wrist. I scream in pain, partially from them being so sensitive, the other from memories flooding back into my mind. After the fifth cut, she stands and leaves the room, locking it behind her. Tears roll down my cheek as I hold my wrist to my shirt. I reach below me and pull out Dawn's phone and hold it up to the light to see what numbers she pressed for a passcode. 1279. I try typing in multiple passcodes until the thought hits me. Adam's birthday. I type it in and it unlocks. Are you serious? How much more creepy can you possibly be Dawn. I scroll through her phone until I come across Adam's name. It rings a few times before he answers. "Dawn leave me alone! I'm not putting up with you!" he yells before hanging up. It felt so good to hear his voice again but that was nothing to worry about right now. I needed a savior. I try calling him again. "Dawn I will report you to the police if you call me again! I do not love you! I love Aiden!" he screams, hanging up again. I smile and sigh proceeding to call Ty's number. "Ty It's me Aiden! Adam won't listen to me!" I say quietly, hoping that Dawn and my mother can't hear me. "Sure it is. Nice try Dawn" he replies, hanging up. These boys are impossible. I call Adam one last time.
"Dawn I swear.." he starts as I cut him off. "It would be awesome if you wouldn't yell over your girlfriend when she is calling for help" I say, glaring and hoping he recognizes my voice. "A-aiden?" he asks, dumbfounded. "It's not her man! It's just Dawn trying to play with us!" Ty remarks. "Then ask me a question only Aiden will know" I answer. They stay quiet for a second until I hear "where did I first fall in love with you?". "Our old elementary school playground! It's me!" I exclaim, louder than needed. "Aiden!" Adam exclaims, happily. "WHERE IS MY PHONE?" Dawn screams, storming towards my room. "Oh no!" I exclaim as Dawn bursts through the door. "You really are a stupid slut!!" she screams, yanking the phone out of my hand and beginning to beat me. I scream as she kicks my broken ribs again then going for my leg. She jumps and lands on it, breaking it instantly. I scream louder as she moves to my arm, poking and jabbing her fingers into my fresh cuts. The pain is becoming to be unbearable. "DAWN STOP!" Adam screams through the phone. Dawn stops and holds the phone to her ear. "Why should I? She's nothing important anyways" Dawn replies. "Because I will find her. I will find you and however bad she looks right now, you will look ten times worse. Leave her alone" he demands, loud enough for me to hear. "Nah. It's too much fun" she says with a smirk, kicking me again then hanging up.
Adam's POV
We were on the road for about 45 minutes when my phone began to buzz. I picked it up and showed it to Ty. "Should I answer?" I ask, confused. He nods as I proceed to pick up. "Dawn leave me alone! I'm not putting up with you!" I yell, hanging up. After calling me and Ty again I decide to lay the cops on the line. Maybe that will get her to stop. "It would be awesome if you wouldn't yell over your girlfriend when she is calling for help" a voice that sounded like Aiden's replies. "A-Aiden?" I ask, dumbfounded. Ty refuses and explains how it's just Dawn messing with us. "Then ask me a question only Aiden will know" the voice says. I sit and think for a second before coming up with one. "Where did I first fall in love with you" I ask, praying it was Aiden. She responded faster then expected. It really is Aiden. "It's Aiden!" I tell the guys while tears fall down my cheeks, happily.
"WHERE IS MY PHONE?" I hear Dawn scream from the background. I put it on speakerphone so everyone can hear. "You really are a stupid slut!!" Dawn screams as I hear Aiden crying out in pain in the background. I can't stand to hear this. I begin to bawl my eyes out trying to get Dawn's attention. "DAWN STOP!" I scream while the voices fall silent, except Aiden's quiet sobs. "Why should I? She's nothing important anyways" Dawn replies. My blood begins to boil as I say "because I will find her. I will find you and however bad she looks right now, you will look ten times worse. Leave her alone". "Nah. It's too much fun" she answers, making Aiden scream again then hanging up. I bawl and throw the phone on the floor. "Tyler step on it!" Alex demands as we drive faster down the highway. I can't lose my Aiden. I can't. I just can't.
