Adam's POV
She slowly pulled out of the driveway while her mom glared at her from the passenger seat. Something wasn't going to go right. She was going to do something to Aiden. What if her mother seriously hurt Aiden. She could even kill her. Her words suddenly popped into my head. 'She's worthless. A nuisance that no one likes. So I'm getting rid of the problem' She was going to kill her. I can't let that happen. I quickly run out of the house and hop in the car, trying to catch up with Aiden. Once her car finally came into view I sped up, not caring if I was pulled over. She kept driving without noticing that I was following her, thankfully. After about 10 minutes, I see Aiden pull the car into a parking lot then jump out, darting inside. Her mother soon follows, catching up to her quickly. I jump out of my car and run after them. After climbing the stairs I came across a problem. What apartment number was hers? I didn't look when we came to get her stuff because I didn't think it would be important. "Think Adam think" I yelled at myself but quickly slap a hand over my mouth, hearing Aiden screaming. I run towards the screaming and burst through the door. Matches and fire burns cover Aiden's limpless body. I run and tackle her mother but not quick enough for her to kick Aiden in the head. I glare down at her mother, my blood starting to boil. "How could you do that to your own daughter?!" I scream at her while she continues trying to push me off of her. "THAT THING IS NOT MY DAUGHTER" her voice yells out in the most inhuman voice I have ever heard. Suddenly, she punches me across the face and jumps on my chest, her hands gripping my throat. "I knew I should've never let her talk to you" she smirks. I can't lose. Not when Aiden needed my help. Not when Sky Army needed me. I'm not going down like this. I reach around searching for something as my hand slides across a beer bottle. With a powerful swing, I grip it and knock the bottle across her head, shattering it. Her body becomes limp as she lays on top of me out cold. I push her off as I choked, gasping for air. "Aiden!" I shriek, crawling over to her. I had to get her to the hospital and fast. I pick her up and quickly jog out of the room to my car. I lay her down gently in the backseat before sliding into the drivers seat. Pulling out my phone, I call Ty hoping he could help. "Hello?" he answers. "Ty I need your help with something. I need you to come up to Washington for a bit. It's urgent" I exclaim, beginning to freak out about Aiden. "Sure no problem man. The earliest flight I can get is in about 4 hours. Will that be okay?" he asks, confusion filling his voice. "As long as you get here soon. Please hurry. Let me know when you land to give you the address" I explain, pulling out of the complex and driving to the nearest hospital. "I know your address" he replies with a chuckle. "I'm not going to be there. I'll give you the address of the hospital as soon as you land" I answer, pulling into the parking lot. "What happened??" he questions, his voice now filling with concern. "I have to go. Text me when you get here" I reply, hanging up. "No Ad-!" he exclaims as I hit the red button, pushing my phone deep into my pocket. I jump out of the car and rush to the backseat, getting Aiden gently. "You're safe. I won't let anything ever happen to you again" I whisper in her ear as I rush inside with her in my arms.
