Aiden's POV

' "Why would anyone want you?!" my mother screams at me, kicking me hard in the stomach. My cries of pain fill the small dark room while Dawn chuckles from the corner. My mother kicks me hard in the face, leaving a black eye behind. The abundance of pain seemed to overflow my blood as it coursed through my veins. Please can I give up?

My thoughts were unexpectedly over ruled by the sounds of a loving voice. "Just know that I love you with all of my heart. I won't give up on you". I smile and roll over to face the two laughing in the corner. Slowly and painfully, I stand and look at them dead in the eyes. "You no longer control me" I boomed, watching them cower down in fear. No more hiding and no more fear for me. '

The moment Adam kisses my forehead, I awake from the deep abyss of sleep. I paid no attention to what the guys were talking about, only the dream I had before. Did it mean something? A sudden phrase made my ear perk up.

"You really do love her don't you?" I hear Ty ask from next to me. My heart started to race and high hopes ran throughout my body. I know Adam loves me but if he says it in front of his friend without me "hearing" it, he may be speaking the truth. "More than life itself" he replies in a loving tone. I force myself to keep a straight face, feeling a sudden weight being lifted off of the bed.

"A-Adam?" I question, faking a yawn. He turns back and leans over me. "Can you stay in here a little while?" I ask. Ty had already walked out of the room by the time I decided to "awaken". A smile spreads across his face as he nods, sitting on the bed. "No I mean come here" I say, giggling. He smiles bigger, laying next to me. I slowly cuddle into his chest while he drapes an arm across me.

"How long were we dating before" I question, looking at his chest. His heart rate sped up as he sighed. "About a day. We were best friends for the longest time though so I had enough time to fully fall in love with you" he replies, causing me to smile.

"Adam what if I can't remember? What if I don't remember us..." I trail off, my eyes not leaving his cotton shirt. My head is suddenly tilted up as he looks deep into my eyes. "Don't think that. They will not win. Their prizes are my heart and your life. Both of those are yours and one I am protecting with my life. They will not get you again. They will not win" he whispers, kissing my forehead. I blush lightly.

"If I can't remember..." I start but he cuts me off. "Don't think that way". I finish my sentence, raising my voice over his "....then can we continue where we left off?". "W-What?" he questions, his heart beginning to thud faster. I smile big and nod. "May I?" he questions. I sat confused to his question before I felt him collide his lips on mine. My heart screamed with love while our lips moved in sync. All of this was so right with him. As soon as he pulls away a flashback eases it's way into the front of my mind.

'The dark night was approaching with glimmering stars right behind it. I stare up at the stars and try to forget everything bad in my life. Mother, friends leaving, my own father leaving, just everything.  A sigh flows from my mouth as I pull my legs to my chest. The foggy cool air seemed to almost envelope me. It held me as if a mother was holding it's depressed child.

"Are you alright?" a voice asks from in front of me, shaking me back into reality. I shrug and look up at a face that seemed so familiar. "Your head is bleeding. Come on. Let's go get it cleaned up" he says extending a hand out to me. I look at it then at him, questioning if I should take it or not. I'm going to need a place to stay. He looks familiar so maybe I might know him. I take it willingly and walk with him in a random direction. Where did I know this boy? Why is he so nice to me? Does someone finally care about me? '

I shake my head, clearing it of the thought. "Flashback?" Adam questions, making me look up at him, nodding. "Did we meet at a park?" I ask, watching as a smile plants itself on his face. Adam nods, holding me tight. I lean up and kiss his cheek, softly.

"I may not remember you Adam but my heart does" I whisper into his ear, pulling back and looking into his eyes. "That was also our first kiss Aiden" he says, smiling incredibly big. I blush a dark red color, smiling.  His arms pull me to him as tight as possible without breaking me. He slowly and gently hummed, sending me back into a world of darkness.

~Next Morning~

Dawn's POV

"What do you mean she's with Adam?!" Devon shrieks, kicking over the chair in front of me. I shook, terrified of Aiden's mother. "Her and Adam are reunited. I beat her up pretty good, but, I have a feeling that she slowly is gaining her memory back" I say as innocently as possible. Devon screams in anger, pacing back and forth.

"She already knows who I am. However, there's the possibility of her not remembering your face" I add, causing Devon to stop pacing. "You're right.. what if I lured Aiden away from Adam and the other guy, then finally finishing the plan" she mutters, tapping her foot in distress. I nod, thinking what could possibly change to make the plan any better. "What if we can't get to Aiden? We need to have a plan B or we will surely fail" I utter out in one breath.

"Then we'll do something with Adam instead of Aiden. Kill her emotionally before physically. For now, we have a lot of planning and scheduling to do" she replies, a evil smirk unrolling across her face.
