Okay First off sorry that I never actually did anything with the rant book :/ I'll try better im sorry don't kill me I love you all

Okay so I spend a lot of time on YouTube. And anyone who's been on YouTube for over 5 minutes knows the horror that is the comment section.

I've legitimately only seen 1 video that doesn't have a single hate comment, and that was for a Hot Chelle Ray video and they aren't that popular.

I just got the idea to make this rant because I just watched a video by Machinima about Pokemon and Bronies.

The comment section was a battle zone I swear to StarClan.

First off, you have your everyday haters calling bronies 'gay immature no-life's who live in their mom's basement'.

Like really it's 2015 get over it

Then you have people stereotyping the entire group as fat grown men with autism wearing fedoras and fantasizing about ponies.

I have enough of this in YouTube daily, you can't go anywhere on the Internet and mention the word atheist without being murdered by 'Christians' (Rant for another day, my dear friends)

But my question is- Pokemon (the anime) was targeted for around 10 year old kids right? Yet millions of people of all ages still enjoy the show and the games. And no one cares. You're over 20? You like Pokemon? Oh cool!

You're over 20? You like My Little Pony? Oh well you must be a gay imbecile with autism or something.

So why is it okay for an adult to enjoy Pokemon or other cartoons when they can't enjoy a show about talking horses?

And this isn't just concerning Mlp, every fandom gets hate.

But shouldn't all fandoms out there support and look out for each other? We all have our hard times and we all have those weird moment in our shows/books that we get hated for, and we more than anyone should understand that. So when I saw in the comment section Pokemon fans bashing on Mlp fans, it was really heartbreaking.

And then people complaining about clopping. Yes it's weird but come on its 2015 GET OVER IT IT HAPPENS.

So I guess what I'm saying is that people are gonna like what they're gonna like, and everyone should accept that. Does it affect your life if a grown man likes a show about multi colored talking horses? Will the world explode if you catch someone watching anime?
