"You drove all the way here?" Hendery asked, leaning over as he pressed the green button and the door of the garage unraveled itself, gradually, revealing the other side.

Intrigued, the girl set her eyes on what was to unveil in front of her eyes since all she could interpret from last night was nothing but mere darkness.

"Come in," He gestured as he walked in and the girl trailed behind him with wandering eyes.

Her jaw dropped to the floor in amazement- the basement was long, resembling a hallway, illuminated bright with the white fluorescent lighting but what got her attention were the array of cars that lay parked on either sides, appearing like an endless chain.

Hendery pushed the close button and the door slowly shut itself secure making all the commotion in the backdrop fade away.

Soyoung stood rooted in her spot, awestruck at the supercars ranging from the late 90's muscle cars to the latest race car models- some altered according to the owner's personal priority and preference.

"I have never seen a line up like this ever in my life, wow" She uttered out, gawking at the sight ahead, cupping her mouth with her hands in absolute disbelief.

"Wow" She let out and Hendery chuckled at her reaction.

"One of these will be yours," He spoke up, now standing next to her, "Anything you want, you name it".

Soyoung's glistening eyes roamed across the hall, "Wow, it really is the headquarters" She mumbled out under her breath, staring amusedly.

"It is" Hendery nodded, sliding his hand in his pocket. "Let's get going" He tapped her shoulder, guiding her toward the doorway on their right.

Opening the door and entering in after Hendery, she noticed that it was the exact place she had visited last night.

"I could barely make out—" Soyoung was cut off when a voice spoke up, making her divert her attention onto the girl.

"Everyone is waiting, hurry" Informing as she ran her fingers through the strands of her black hair, Yeri spun around on her heels, walking away and Hendery nodded, trailing behind.

Soyoung wordlessly followed the two with eyes trained on Yeri, wondering why the girl had been distancing herself so much- the last time they shared a conversation being at the party, the night when she sat along with Mark in his Corvette for the race.

The door to the room where the meeting was supposedly to be held was clicked open by Yeri and the three stepped inside.

Soyoung's roaming eyes firstly fell onto the figure standing at the center, Seo Changbin, and just as his slitted gaze pierced through hers, she looked away.

Everyone stood scattered across the room and not knowing where to take her place, Soyoung silently leaned against the wall adjacent to the door.

All of their stances stiff and tensed while the only person who languidly sat on the chair at one corner of the room was Mark- one hand lethargically thrown over the top rail while the other drummed on his thigh rhythmically, head dipping to his side and leaning onto his outstretched hand.

Mark's gaze darted over to the girl, meeting her honey brown eyes and she instantly turned her head away- the corner of his lips etching into a smirk at her action.

"About the strike at our arena," Changbin spoke up, earning everyone's attention, "It wasn't the Bikers themselves- they ambushed incognito" He explained, his eyes that exhibited no emotion analyzing each of their reactions warily.

A deep sigh slipped San's mouth, Hendery's eyes briefly flickered over to Soyoung, giving her a small assuring nod and the only ones who had little-to-no change of expression masking their faces were Mark and Yeri- unfazed just like the manager.

"And who are they?" Yeri spoke up nonchalantly, crossing her legs making the fringe of her short, figure-hugging red dress raise slightly above to reveal the pale skin of her thigh underneath the clothing and Soyoung's eyes dropped onto the floor, not wanting to stare.

"That," Changbin raised a finger that pointed at Yeri, "Is still up in the air as of now but certainly, someone from the bikers allied with them. It wouldn't have been efficacious otherwise" He stated and the girl nodded, mulling over the manager's words.

"No assistance either?" Hendery asked, "There is," Changbin paused, eyes landing onto Mark, "The one who probably confronted them yesterday".

At those words, everyone swung their heads to face the boy who had his black eyes piercing into the manager's, "What?" He raised a brow, oblivious to the question.

"Did you confront them- any of them?" Changbin repeated- tone hinting slight vexation at Mark's apathetic gaze and how he slackened off the conversation.

"No, just a plain chase" Mark gave a shake of his head in response, "Vain." He remarked, shrugging as though it wasn't much of his concern.

Changbin curtly nodded, straightening himself before concluding, "I will run a background check—"
"That is not the immediate approach" Mark interjected and Soyoung snapped her head to face him with wide eyes.

Normally, neither of the members utter a word against Changbin or at least interrupt him while speaking but to see Mark break him off mid-way and interfere was something unforeseen.

Changbin's brow raised up to his hairline for a mere fraction of second before his face dropped void of any emotion and studying his reaction, Soyoung wondered if Mark was the only one Changbin did not build a wall in between, unlike with the rest.

"Ally with the bikers" Mark's words took everyone by surprise and though Changbin was equally caught off guard, he decided to not show it- not a slightest bit of his expression fluctuating.

"Infiltration is a prime strategy to know their insides" Mark added, standing up as he flung the black leather jacket over his right shoulder while the other hand slid into the pocket of his skintight jeans.

Changbin stared at Mark for a few seconds before the amber brown eyes fleeted over to the others in the room, "Meeting dismissed".
