Soyoung stood parallel to San who had Hendery accompanying him on the other side, all their eyes unwavering on the race that was to soon initiate.

Soyoung had her attention on Yeri, watching as the girl in her velvety-red dress approached her car and her intrigued eyes darted over to the bright orange coated car.

And upon recognizing the car, her jaw dropped, literally.

"Is that a McLaren?" She asked, pointing her hand at the very car and the two nodded.

"Yeah, McLaren 765LT. Quarter-mile time 9.9 seconds and it's top speed 205 mph, pretty fast" San remarked, eying the car with a small smile.

"That one cost 360k US dollars" Hendery spoke up and her eyes snapped wide, "A what?!".

"Hold that in. My baby cost a solid 2.8 million US dollars, at second hand. Even better" San added throwing her a wink and though it took her a few seconds to fathom, she soon realized that he had referred to his Bugatti Chiron as 'baby'.

"What the-" Soyoung whispered, slapping a hand to her mouth, implicitly stunned. "How do you even get your hands on all these?!" She uttered out, astonished and San chuckled at her reaction, his soft dimples taking its place on his cheeks.

"Well, technically speaking, Changbin does" Hendery corrected before turning to face his front and catching sight of something, his eyebrow raised to his hairline as he slightly leaned over, trying to focus keenly.

Soyoung glanced ahead, soon noticing Yeri who was mouthing something to Hendery- words which she could barely catch onto.

"Looks like I have got to go" Hendery announced, sliding his hands in the pockets of his jacket as he stepped back and giving the two a last glance, he walked away.

"I'll take my place near the monitoring screen, wanna join?" San's question made her turn to look at him but soon shook her head, "I'll pass, don't wanna step in that crowd" She replied and the boy nodded.

"Hm, see you later then" With that San left her side and instantly the wintry breeze nibbled at her skin, making her hug her arms closer to her body in attempts to create warmth.

"Shit, should have worn a jacket" She mumbled to herself, rubbing her palms up-and-down her arms as she blew out air from her parted pink lips.

Her gaze landed on the last car that was to pull up at the line, the engine roaring aloud as the car soon emerged into her sight and a chuckle with a subsequent whisper of 'wow' instinctively slipped her mouth.
