Soyoung found herself standing at the Pheonix headquarters, despite her mother's piece of advice which had already slipped off her mind.

But there was more of cluster than the usual members in the space.

Soyoung knit her brows together, wondering as to why there was a crowd at the headquarters—the crowd that belonged to other racing clubs at that.

She pushed her hands inside the pockets of her blue jeans and let herself fall back onto the cold wall that connected with her back.

"Hello there Choi," The soft voice reaching her ears made her eyes fleet onto the familiar person who approached her.

"What's with the crowd?" She asked, eying the mass with a raised brow, "Another race?" She added and the boy nodded, crossing his arms as he leaned on the wall, taking his place beside her.

"The arena demands for quite the means, so we'd to compensate with a race" The recruiter explained and she nodded in acknowledgment.

Hendery parted his lips to speak but broke off when another person stepped in- both turning their attention onto the newcomer.

A small smile curled up on her lips, raising her hand to her shoulder height as she gave a short wave, "Hey San" She greeted and the said boy smiled, glancing back at Hendery.

"They are here" San informed, jerking his chin towards the room on the other end and Hendery nodded, looking at Soyoung who had a hint of perplexity masking her face since she had no clue of whom he addressed as 'they' in the statement.

"Come" With that said, Hendery walked off and the girl wordlessly pushed herself off the wall, deciding to tag along.

"And you?" She asked San with eyes unwavering on Hendery, not wanting to loose track of him.

"I have got some work to do" San replied with a shrug, "Go ahead" He motioned in the direction Hendery had left from earlier and she simply nodded before walking past him.

Soyoung watched as Hendery stepped inside the room and her pace quickened, reaching onto the door before it fell to a close.

Her hand pushed the door open, widely, eyes hastily skimming through the people filling the area and her palm gripping the door knob clenched, feet resisting from making a move.

The opposite end of Hendery stood two boys and a female—around the same age as theirs— all drowning in black clothings, multiple piercings and tattoos inked onto their bodies- their intimidating aura prompting her to make a u-turn.
