All of my nerves are on the edge,
I want to get to know you"Holy shit" She muttered out, blinking away her bewilderment as her eyes roamed around the open area.
Soyoung froze, jaw agape as she stared at the boundless line of race cars— you name it— the fresh, glossy new paint on the streamlined bodies of the car on full display.
"Holy shit. This is crazy" She uttered out with wide eyes earning a chuckle from him.
"You.. you really got me here just to pay me?" She flailed her arms in the air, narrowing her eyes on San.
"Why, you don't like it?" He raised a brow with a small grin on his lips, well aware of her response and she sighed out, shaking her head hesitantly.
Undoubtedly, she liked the it.
Being someone who had been very much into cars, acknowledged about it meticulously ever since young age, she definitely did feel intrigued.
"So you are a racer" She mumbled out and he nodded, "Thought you guessed that yesterday"
"Not really""Can't you just pay and get this done?" Soyoung asked while fidgeting with her fingers, "I will, just not now" San shrugged, gripping onto the hem of his black leather jacket.
"This isn't your first time—"
"First" She cut him off with her reply and he wordlessly stared at her, lips parting open to speak but soon pursed them together, deciding to not voice his thoughts."I feel like an intruder" Lucas interrupted, sliding his hands in his pocket as he glanced at the two in front, awaiting an explanation.
"We should get going Lucas" San jerked his chin to the side and the taller boy nodded, waving aside his question.
"Are you leaving me alone now?"
"Don't worry, you'll fit in just perfect" He offered her with a smile, the soft dimples appearing on his cheek as he did so and she nodded.Soyoung watched as the two walked away, a loud sigh escaping her lips as she crossed her arms, running her palm up and down her bare skin, enclosing herself with the warmth upon feeling chilled to the bone.
Though she ended up here without her consent, the most part of her felt desirous to explore more of what she had stepped into- almost like she was enthralled into the secluded world that manifested itself to her.
"Nothing to lose anyway" She mumbled to herself shuffling further through the crowd full of enthusiastic teenagers and past the line of cars for coziness.
The place where she stood was slightly elevated, giving her the perfect visibility of the race circuit set up.
Her plain attire made her distinctive over all the people who surrounded her- the place reeking of sweat and undoubtedly had a whiff of cocain drifting through the air making her turn around in revolt.
Propping against the metal railing, her restless brown eyes flickered across the open area until her gaze halted onto something.
The Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray.
"Fuck" She impulsively let out, mouth agape in amazement upon seeing her dream car mere meters away.
The radiant torch red metallic tintcoat of the car displayed itself, almost luring her in as her hands craved to touch and feel it under her fingers- her dream car.
Her eyes darted over to the side and against the sleek, lustrous exterior reclined a figure, her eyebrows raised as she ranked her eyes over him.
The way he leisurely stood upright against it with a light hand resting on the hood of the car, assuredly gave it away he was owner.
His all black outfit camouflaging him with the darkness that encased him. All she could view was the white smoke twirling round his head, fading into the atmosphere like a tornado from the cigarette held in between his forefinger and middle, reduced in good size.
Latently she leaned to her side for a better view, watching him as he languidly tipped his head back making his pitch black hair slickly fall over his forehead- raising his hand that held the thin, white stick before he inhaled a long drag of fumes.
Admittedly, she felt entranced, everything about him felt elegant and too-good-to-be-real, urging to get to know more about him like a magnet being pulled by a strong force- heart pounding within her chest at all the startling feelings that bloomed inside her.
"So what's got your attention- the car or him?"
Black hair Mark is superior 👀
Also, don't smoke guys it's not good nor attractive in any way 😔
