Joyce sat on the rocking chair in Rae's room, cradling Lucien. She cooed softly. Will and El were putting away the baby outfits and onesies, they insisted since they fangirled over the teeny clothes.

Teresa was away for business, much to her own dismay.

Jonathan was coming back from work and quietly walked into the house. He was exhausted and it was only 6 in the afternoon. He walked past a door that was creaked open a little. He stopped when he noticed Rae sitting in the dark room, Will's room to be exact, with only the light from the slightly opened door.

Out of concern, Jon spoke. "Hey."

"Hey." She replied, not looking at Jon. The green eyed Byers kept silent for moment.

At the same time, the twins asked. "How was work?"
"Why aren't you with Luci?"

"You go first." Rene told him.

"It was fine, really. Manager seemed quite tired but it's okay." He turned to her, "What's wrong?"

" He turned to her, "What's wrong?"

"I don't think I'm a good mom." She croaked. "I feel like I failed him." She looked up at him. "And I don't want to. I love my baby boy."

"I know."

"I'm sorry, I just--."

"Rae."

"Jon, please." A tear slipped. "My little boy deserves better." Jonathan went on his knees in front of his sister. Looking at her in the eye, "You are a good mom. The best, just like ours. You've been moming Will and the other knuckleheads. They love you. And I know that Lucien does, too." He held her crying face. "I know. You might be an amputee, but that didn't stop you from climbing a fence with barb wire, right?" They sniffled, smiling a little.
"Don't ever doubt yourself. You're the champ." Jon nodded, making her nod.

"Thank you." Rene hugged her brother. Thank you.

They walked to the young woman's room where Lucien was awake in Joyce's arms as she made a baby voice. Eleven's finger was wrapped by Luci's tiny hand. Will was somehow in the newborn's crib. "Oh, look who came, sweetie." Their mother told the baby. "Mommy and Uncle Jonny." The pair chuckled. Joyce gave Lucien to his mother. Rene smiled at her little one as Jon softly ruffled his hair.

He had his father's eyes, blue like the ocean. His bundle of light brownish blonde hair. Rene kissed her little champ's head.

He was just perfect.
