One month later.

"Will, your action?" Mike beamed.

"Fireball him!" Lucas suggested. Will looked over at Dustin. "Fireball the son of a bitch." He agreed. Will rolled the dice. "Fourteen!"

Everyone exclaimed.

"Direct hit. Will the Wise's fireball hits the thessalhydra. It makes a painful.." Mike imitates screeching. "and then it crumbles to the ground. Its clawed hand reaches for you one last time and, and, and.." Mike drops. Everyone cheered. "Lucas cuts off its seven heads, and Dustin places them into his bag of holding. You carry the heads out of the dungeon, victorious, and you present them to King Tristan. He thanks you for your bravery and service."

"Whoa. Whoa, that's not it, is it?" Dustin asked.

"No, there's a medal ceremony--"

"Oh, a medal ceremony? What are you talking about?"

"The campaign was way too short." Lucas added.

"Yeah!" Will agreed.

"It was ten hours!"

"But it doesn't make any sense." Dustin said.

"It makes sense."

"Uh, no, what about the lost knight?"

"And the proud princess?"

"And those weird flowers in the cave?"

"I don't know, it's--"

The door to the basement opened. The boys turned to see twins. "Jeez, what's that smell?" Jonathan asked as his sister came down from the steps behind him. "Have you guys been playing games all day, or just farting?" Rene teased as she chuckled. The boys chuckled with her. "No, it's just Dustin. He farted." Lucas said. Dustin looked at him. "Dustin farted." He teased.

"Okay. Very mature, Lucas." Dustin told him. The boys then argued playfully.

"Will." Rene called for him. Will smiled up at his siblings. "Come on." Jonathan added. He headed upstairs, Will and Rene said bye to the boys. She went up with Will.

"Bye, Will. See you, Rene." The boys beamed at them.

The siblings walked through the kitchen. "So you had fun?" Jonathan asked. "Yeah." Will beamed as he walked at Rene's side. "Hey, boys. Rene." Karen chimed.

"Hey, Mrs. Wheeler." Jonathan said. Rene waved with a smile.

"Hey, wish your mom a merry Christmas for me, okay?" She asked. Rene nodded. "Thank you, and merry Christmas." Mrs. Wheeler said it back.

"You win?" Rene asked. "Yeah!" Will replied. "Awesome." She complimented. As they went to the front door, someone stopped them.

"Hey, Jonathan, wait up." Nancy called him. She handed him a wrapped present. "Merry Christmas." She said. Jonathan told her his thanks and else things. She kissed Jonathan's cheek softly. Nancy handed a gift to Rene. "Uh, thanks..You didn't have to. I didn't get you anything. I-" Rene stammered. "It's okay." Nancy smiled at the girl. "Merry Christmas." Rene said as she waved at her.

"You ready? Let's go." Jonathan asked his siblings. "Yeah." Will said. Rene nodded.

Will sat in the passenger seat, Rene sat in the back, and Jonathan at the driver's, of course. "All right, buckle up." Will buckled his seat belt. Rene being the person she is, didn't put her seat belt on. Before Jonathan could tell her to do so Will asked, "Can I open it?" He innocently asked. "Yeah, sure."

"Whoa." Rene said as she saw what it was. It was a camera, a pretty expensive camera. "Pretty cool, huh?" Will chimed.

"Here open mine, hon." She handed him the gift. Will opened it. It was a few bracelets. "Nice." Jonathan said. There were three. "Here. You two can have one each."

"Awesome!" Will put the bracelet on his right hand. "Thank you, Rene." Jonathan wore the bracelet. Rene did the same. She chuckled with her twin brother. "Yeah, pretty cool." Jon said as he drove.

"That one yours?" Jonathan asked.

"Yeah." Will said as he held his gift. "Looks pretty big." Rene said from the kitchen.

Rene helped her mom in the kitchen. She came into the dining room placing the food on the table. Jonathan headed to the where she was. Their mother joined her daughter. Jon took a photo of them. "What are you doing?" Joyce asked with her hands up.

"Documenting." He replied. Rene chuckled as she set the table a bit. "It looks great."

"Oh, this is just so overcooked. And look, the potatoes are runny." Joyce said as she played with the potatoes. "Mom. It's okay." Rene told her. They chuckled. The family sat down at the table. "It's definitely an Atari." Will chimed.

"An a-what-i?" Joyce asked. "The green present. It's an Atari. I felt Dustin's today, it's the same exact weight."

"Really? Well.."

"Yeah." Will beamed.

"We'll have to see, won't we?" Rene said with a smile. Will stood up. "Hey, no more snooping." Joyce told her youngest.

"No, I forgot to wash my hands. I'll be right back." Will said as he went to the bathroom. Rene felt uneasy. "Uh, Mom, I'll be outside for a bit, okay?" Rene told her.

"Um, well, okay, sweetheart. It's cold outside wear your sweater." Joyce told her Rene nodded.

Will stood by the sink. He started coughing.

Rene was outside, she felt sick. She bent over. Saliva came out first.

Will coughed and retched something out of his mouth. The slug like thing went down the drain. He turned the faucet on, he groaned. He then was in the Upside Down. He went back to reality. He turned the water off, he was scared. He walked back to the table. "Where's Ré?"

Blood was on the snow. Rene continued to vomit blood. She was in pain from the inside. She felt the scars, the wounds on her back like they were fresh once more. "Mira a quien tenemos aquí. Rene." A man spoke behind her. She turned to see a man she recognized, she was terrified. "Rene?" The girl went back to reality. Jonathan was by the door. "Come inside, it's cold out here. Let's go eat, okay?" Rene nodded as she walked over to her brother. Rene joined her family to the dinner. "Are you okay?" Joyce asked. "Yeah, I'm alright."

"Very good, Mom." Jonathan said as he ate. "Rene cooked with me, too."

Will beamed and explained how the game wen today to Joyce. They spent the night happy.
