You never really interacted with the tall brunette. She always hung around the blonde named Krista but you kept to yourself a lot anyway. The only one you got a long with was Annie since she shared the same attitude you did.

Ymir became quite a nuisance sometimes the way she acted if she didn't care. Though many were this way in the survey corps.

But you two never gave each other a passing glance. Annie nudged you as you almost tripped on your own foot from gawking at the girl. "What's Ymir like to you Annie?"

The cold woman gave you a quizzical expression. "What's with the sudden interest?"

"I honestly don't know."

Annie shrugged her shoulders and said, "I'm like you I can't really form an opinion on her. I don't know her well enough."

You continued to stare at the tan skinned brunette as she made Krista laugh to the point she spat her drink out. What was it like to feel such joy like those two did? You could see them getting closer as Ymir discreetly gave the girl a sneaky peck to the cheek.

You turned away feeling flustered for some reason. Annie was too busy preparing for bed to notice your rosy red cheeks. The hell were you blushing for?

As you were following Annie to bed the peck on the cheek remained in your head throughout the whole night.

By morning you were sooo tired, getting up as Annie did her usual push ups routine. Her abs gleaming with sweat as she stretched.

"Annie...what's it like to kiss someone?"

She stopped and looked at you like you were crazy. "What's with asking me all these strange questions I don't care about?"

"I'm just suddenly interested."

"Obviously."

She didn't answer and continued to stretch, stupidly you stood up and cupped her chin. Her icy blue pupils locked onto yours as you copied Ymir's actions. Planting a swift kiss to her cheek.

You were pushed back gently while Annie held no different expression. "Before you try to re-enact your fantasies try speaking to Ymir to find out why you're acting weird."

She walked out and shut the door, but she leaned against the wall, fingering the place where your lips had touched. "That was unexpectedly nice."

You tool Annie's advice and consulted with Ymir, she was much taller than you previously thought. Her towering frame making you feel intimidated, having her arms folded over her chest and not looking all that impressed didn't help.

"Well what did you want from me?"

You cleared you throat, "uh I need an answer for something."

She leaned against the wall of a building, "shoot."

"I have a weird fascination with kissing ever since I saw you kiss Krista. It's been in my head non-stop, you also fill up any other part of my thinking too. Even though we don't talk to each other very often. What's wrong with me?"

Silence filled the space between you two as Ymir blinked surprised. Then clutched her sides as she burst out laughing.

You became angry as she couldn't stop the fit of laughter. "This isn't funny! Something is seriously wrong!"

Ymir calmed herself as she flicked a tear from her eye. "Girlie do you know what a crush is?"

"A...crush?"

She shook her head with a smile, "to put it in words your dense brain can comprehend, you're in love with me."

It was your turn to be surprised. "B-but I didn't plan to like someone here."

"Ymir!" Krista called out, waving her over.

"Love isn't something planned it's twisted and will screw with your heart till it's breaking. Anyhow I have to go to my lovely Krista."

"Hey I wasn't finished talking!"

"Too bad." She stuck her tongue out whilst giving you a rude gesture. But she shot up another finger, curling her tongue upwards with a smirk. Then running to Krista.
