"Levi Hange asked me to give you these papers." He motioned for you to set them on his desk. You slid the papers neatly in front of him and decided to take a seat.

He stopped what he was doing and looked at you with the most deadpan expression. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Well I was hoping we could talk, I haven't seen you all day." He rubbed the bridge of his nose, "does it look like I have time to chat?"

You sucked on the inside of your cheek and said. "That's what a break is for." He put down the pen and pointed a finger towards the door.

"Out."

You put your hands up, "alright Mr grumpy." You walked out and left him alone. "I'm only that way because of you."

For that time in his office he got some peace and quiet but when he had finished you pestered him after. "I killed heaps of titans today!"

He sipped his tea, "really?"

"Yep annnnddd I might surpass you." He rolled his eyes at your smug grin, "wipe that look off your face it doesn't suit you."

You sighed, "me being happy doesn't suit my face?"

"Nope."

You slumped in your chair, "rude bastard."

"Haven't you got somewhere else to be?"

"No. I'm choosing to spend my free time with you."

He sighed too, "I wish you wouldn't." That was a stab in the chest especially when you held such deep attraction for him.

Levi felt you were a constant bother as you chose to be around him a lot during the time you got off. Morning, lunch and dinner you were mainly with him. It pissed him to the brink one day.

You sat looking over his shoulder while he read. "What are you reading this time?"

"Poppy and the cursed amulet." He replied nonchalantly.

"Ooo maybe I should give it a read." You rambled on about how you didn't read books enough lately.

That's when he snapped, "why don't you go annoy somebody else?!" You went silent. "W-what?"

"All you do is talk and it makes my ears bleed, you hang around me almost all day, everyday. It's like a dog following its master who doesn't want it!"

You grabbed onto your forearm, "I'm sorry I didn't realise."

He threw the book on the chair, opening to a random page. "No because you are a clueless moron."

Your features flashed with a look of hurt. "Levi..." You hung your head, hair shielding your face as you fought back the urge to cry. "Fine I'll leave you alone."

Without another word you left him to his book. He sighed with relief whilst saying, "peace and quiet at last."

About a month passed and Levi found himself more irked than usual. This new found silence had become defeaning to the point it was him mad.

He went to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat, when he walked in he heard voices. "(Y/n) you are so silly." Moblit chuckled, you couldn't help but laugh back.

"For giving you flowers? I think not."

Not in all that month had he come across you and in that time you and Moblit...were close. He didn't like it and beyond all reasoning he intervened.

"Oi the kitchen isn't for loitering around in."

"Levi!" You both shouted in usion, the short man locked eyes on the bouquet of flowers Moblit held.

"Who picked those?"

Your tone when you spoke was quick and cold. "I did. I wanted to thank Moblit for coming to my rescue."

Suddenly Levi snatched the flowers, "hey!"

Moblit tried to get them back but Levi held onto them with a firm grip. "Instead of wasting time picking flowers how about you train instead."

You told Moblit bit to worry about the flowers and asked if he could step out for the moment.

He nodded and have your arm a small squeeze. Levi felt a muscle feather in his jaw.

"What the hell has gotten into you?! Being rude to Moblit like that!"

He had no reason for his actions, just that seeing him smile that way at you filled him with jealousy. "Sorry that was uncalled for."

You scoffed. "Go shove your apology. I'm going back to Moblit."

The moment you went to walk off Levi grabbed your wrist and pinned you to the brick wall. "Levi?!"

"I miss your pointless rambling."

"What?"

He went on, "I miss how you tried to distract me from work and you put up with me even on my bad days."

He let go of his hold on you, your arms fell to your sides but he still trapped you in. " Why are you saying all this?"

"I'm sorry for calling you a moron then, you're not one and I miss your presence."

"And?" You egged him on.

"I...just...I just couldn't bring myself to face the truth."

You gazed into his dull blue pupils. "What is that truth?"

He grabbed your chin and whispered onto your skin. "I love you."
