Sorry for the long wait StrawberryCowsu.
Levi guided his horse to a rather large lake for a drink, it lowered its head and began to drink.
Levi sat down cross-legged as he waited for his horse to have its fill. A heavy amount of stress weighed on his shoulders, all the paperwork he'd have to write due to new deaths.
That's when he noticed it, a splash in the water, gaining closer and closer. Levi removed himself from the water's edge and his horse. Making it seem as he was still there though by throwing rocks to mimic the sound of footsteps.
He crouched, watching to see if the source of the noise would appear and it did. But what his brain had imagined was completely wrong, a girl....
A girl with webbing in-between her fingers, no clothes on and a....fish tail.

You stared at him, suddenly just noticing that he'd moved. Your eyes locked on each other and before you knew it he was in front of you. A blade against your neck.
"Who are you?" The man said in a stern manner.
"Uh-um, (Y/n)!" You answered quickly.
The utter bewilderment at discovering a mermaid replaced the stress he had been feeling earlier. His eyebrows furrowed, clutching the hilt of the sword tighter he simply said.
"So why shouldn't I kill you?"
<>
And just like that you knew the name of the man who had put the sword to your throat. Levi Ackerman.
Your reason seemed enough at the time to keep him from killing you, due to his mercy the two of you had formed a relationship. What type? You weren't sure, but the way he looked at you sometimes suggested he had a fondness for you. Vice versa for him, but you believed your feelings ran deeper.
Within the months Levi had been visiting you, others had learnt of your existence and wanted to see what they could gain from a mystical creature.
So when Levi called out your name like many times before you could believe he was worried when you didn't show.
He tried his best to look for you, zooming though the air. Anger coursing through his veins as he knew you would not leave the lake willingly.
Then his ears picked up the sound of your voice he loved so much. But the way in which you were using it hurt him.
There you were, hissing at the men who were trying to catch with their net once more. You'd been able to use your smarts as a mermaid to scare their horses away.
Making them reduced to having to carry you, the sight of you was disheartening. Bleeding all over your body, small gashes in the softer parts of your tail.
The scales along your tail were dry as a desert. The water that helped keep your body wet had been touched by the sun, leaving your skin exposed.
You were shivering and coughing on the ground. No doubt because of what happened when you were caught.A plume of dust covered the air momentarily, Levi's enraged features showed. His eyes locked on the men who looked like they were going to drop their nets again. He flew straight at them, blades like talons as he sliced through the men like paper and carried you out of there.
"I'm sorry." You coughed weakly. Trying to get rid of the dirt that had been kicked up by his feet.Your face scrunched in disgust. Your scales felt stiff and scratchy against the sensitive skin.
Your blood had dried into your scales and left a thick black coating that would soon start peeling off.
"You have nothing to be sorry for silly, I'll take to my quarters to get you cleaned up."
Your face was shot with worry, "isn't that dangerous?!"
He shook his head and spoke no more, you sighed. His lack of words irked you sometimes.
Levi had been careful in where his hands were placed, your (f/c) tail hung over the end of the tub.
He'd made sure you were fully submerged to the best of his abilities. The wounds stung when he had stiched them up and the dried blood made the tub water murky. So Levi had to refill the bath a couple of times.
Soon your scales were glistening like before and shined in the light. "I'm glad your all better."
You gave him a smile of which he sadly didn't return, "me too."
Much like the first time you met your eyes locked onto each other. Levi drew in, cupping your chin with one hand as he brought his face close to yours. Your breath hitched and you leaned into his touch, your cheeks flushed.
A first kiss.
