Your tall friend was texting on her phone as she slumped on the red velvet couch. Her arm stretched along the top of the furniture, you found it quite impressive she could text with one hand.

"Oi Ymir don't you have work in a little bit?"

She finally tore her gaze away from the screen of which she had been staring at for 3hrs now. "Oh no it's actually my day off today." Her brown pupils went straight back to that damn phone.

You leaned against the kitchen bench, "who are you talking to that is sooo interesting that you can't look away?"

Ymir stopped texting for a moment, "a girl named Historia."

"Well that's really vague, is she someone your interested in or just another one night stand?"

This time Ymir put the phone on the coffee table and directed her attention to this conversation. "Which do you reckon it is?"

You arched a brow as her smile turned to a smug smirk. "I'm not playing a guessing game. Just tell me stupid."

The brunette clasped her hands, resting her chin on them. "Come on it'll be fun." She said with a wink.

You scoffed and headed for the kettle, "I'm making myself some tea."

Ymir fake pouted. "Aw gee how cruel of you not to offer any."

You shot back with, "frankly I don't think you deserve any. You get enough liquids a different way."

Ymir slapped her knee and let go a boisterous laugh. "That's a good one (Y/n)! I keep telling you we'd make a good married couple."

The kettle switch flicked upwards signalling it was boiled. You stuck in a tea bag, dropped in two sugars then poured the hot water into the mug. "And I keep telling you I have no interest in marriage. Most people get divorced because it never works out." You grabbed some milk from the fridge as Ymir smirked again, unnoticed by you.

She walked over as you poured in the milk and dipped the tea bag once or twice to make sure the tea leaves did their job. As you turned around to put it in the bin you jumped from Ymir being behind.

"That is not funny." You said sternly.

"Wasn't supposed to be." You saw she had planted her palms on either side of the bench. Trapping you within her arms, "what is this?" You asked quite annoyed.

She smiled. "You said you don't like marriage but you didn't say with me or that a relationship is out of the question."

You felt uneasy. "What are you getting at? Also you're twisting my words."

What she said next made you blush in surprise. "Love I've got it bad for you."

"Uh wha- you can't just say that!"

Ymir chuckled. "I just did." There was no way to escape as she had you cornered. Ymir brought herself closer so that now there was little distance between you. "I've wanted to kiss those lips of yours since day one of moving in here."
