Chapter 11

Pacifica's father, Preston Northwest.

dipper's pov:

A million thoughts were running through my head, but the most important ones were, why was Preston Northwest working for bill? also did Pacifica know about this? My thoughts were interrupted by a guard walking past us into the camp. Gideon, Logan, and I ducked quickly into the bushes next to us, thankfully we weren't seen. Once the guard was far enough the three of us sat up and Gideon was the first to speak in a hushed voice. "what on earth is Mr. Northwest doin out here with one of Bill's bubbles?" I swallowed hard and looked around to make no one could hear us " i'm not sure, but we need to figure it out" I looked around a bit more and spotted a sturdy tree nearby that had enough cover and pointed to it "Gideon think you can float the three of us up into that tree?" he looked at it and nodded

We snuck over to the tree and the three of us began to glow a faint blue, when we landed in the tree. from up here we had a much better view of the camp and the bubble, there were guards with all sorts of weapons as if preparing for a battle, the big red bubble glowed in pulses, my Grunkle's symbols glowed as yellow as Bill himself. I shuddered at the thought of bill. I took some binoculars out and handed them to Logan, he had the best eye for little details out of anyone iv'e ever known. As he was looking around her pointed to Preston "guys look, around his neck" he handed the binoculars  to Gideon who gasped and finally I got them, around Preston northwest's neck was a golden key shaped like the one for Mabel's bubble, except it had my Grunkle Stan's claw symbol on it.

I moved the binoculars away from my eyes and frowned "but he only has one key, there's two locks, one on each side of the bubble, how are we supposed to get the other one?" Logan took the binoculars back from me and looked around the camp as Gideon spoke "where even IS the other key?" Logan shook his in annoyance "i don't see another key on him or anyone else in the camp" I sighed and looked at them "the only way to find out is to storm the camp and get the answers from Mr. Northwest, only he'd know who has the other key."  Gideon nodded in agreement and spoke "my best guess is whoever is workin for Bill and hired him has the key." I nodded "we need to get back to the others and come up with a plan"i took out my phone and texted Mabel that we were coming back with big news.

Gideon used his magic to lift us out of the tree and back onto the ground gently, floating with that magic of his is just as weird as the first time he lifted me with it, granted he was going to kill me with it but that's all in the past now. I started back the way we came, the guys following behind me as we kept close to the ground, we were a few feet away when a voice cleared their throat behind us. We slowly turned around to be face to face with Preston Northwest, as well as four guys with taser sticks. Logan groaned "Willow's gonna kill me" we were grabbed from behind, pinned onto our stomachs, and placed in heavy, chained handcuffs. I looked up at Preston who sighed "now boys, where do you think your going?"

We were led into the camp and forced into chairs and chained to them, I could barely move my hands and feet let alone my body, these guys really knew what they were doing. Gideon was on my right and Logan was on my left when the guards stood off to the side Preston stepped into our view. he was sipping on a cup of tea before putting it onto a plate another guard held. "what do you want with the bubble Northwest?" he smiled at my statement as if trying not to laugh at me. "Dipper my boy, you really don't want to know the answer to that" he took a step around the three of us watching us as he paced in a slow steady circle. I scoffed at him "And why's that? does Pacifica even know about all of this!?" i struggled a bit in my chains as Preston let out a laugh. "of course she doesn't know, if she did she wouldn't be working with you."

I almost let out a sigh of relief as I smiled a bit, Pacifica didn't betray us after all. Logan and Gideon both smiled a bit too which meant they were thinking the same thing. Preston sighed and stopped right in front of me "and just because she doesn't know doesn't mean any of you will escape here to have her find out." he walked away with the guards leaving the three of us alone.  I turned my head to the right and whispered to Gideon "can you use your magic to get us out of these chains?" he nodded slightly and whispered back "yeah, but i can only handle so many of these guards at once, I wont be able to handle them all, and your guyses weapons are off in the forest somewhere" I sighed and spoke "we need to find a way to signal the others for backup" Logan leaned forward as much as he could and spoke to Gideon and I "already one step ahead of you, I sent my sis an S.O.S text from my watch before they got the cuffs on" I smiled "good now all we need to do is wait"

It wasn't long before Logan's watch beeped signaling the others were close, I looked around as well as the others and Giden nodded his head towards the way we came, Mabel was waving her grappling hook at us, willow was next to her with my golf club and Logan's baseball bat. I grinned and turned to Gideon who nodded and closed his eyes as the chains began to glow, after a few seconds they fell off of us and we got up, of course the guards noticed right away and began running at us, Gideon managed to use his magic to throw them off to the side. More guards started running at us from behind and were a few feet away before they were knocked down, and knocked out by Willow who had hit them all in one fell swoop with what seemed to be a fake sword made of some kind of hard rubber material. she smiled at us and tossed Logan and I our weapons.

hey guys ! sorry ive been gone for a few months, ive been busy and going through some things, and most recently a really rough breakup, so i hope you guys enjoy two chapters close together!!
