chapter 7

a statue, of the one and only Bill Cipher

dipper's pov:

I stood there in shock, I couldn't believe it.  I thought it had dissapeared when the weirdness was washed away but there it was. I slowly approached it readying myself for anything that may happen.   as I got closer I noticed the statue was covered in dirt and vines,  it looked almost, peaceful.  of course being left for five years with no one seeing it would do that.  I got closer,  the stone it was made of somehow wasnt chipped anywhere,  it would look brand new if it wasnt for the vines and other things.  I crouched down infront of it and sighed. "why is it creating anomalies if Bill is gone?  it doesn't make any sense"  I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Giddeon.  his eyes landed on the statue behind me and he began to shake a bit "I..is that?"  I nodded "Bill's real body,  turned to stone"   I heard Gilddeon swallow hard as he approached and I turned back to the statue. Giddeon sounded a little scared when he spoke "I thought this vanished with everything else"  I sighed and put my hand on the eye of the statue "I did too, but apparently it hasnt,  where's Mabel and Willow?" Giddeon knelt down next to me "they are talking to the bear and Logan about random stuff" I nodded and looked at the hand of the statue that stuck out and got a sudden urge to grab onto it,  I was about to until Giddeon grabbed my wrist "Dipper don't touch the hand,  I dont think that's safe,   for now we should leave this here and tell the others so we can research it"  I nodded,  and stood back up "yeah we should,  let's head back with the girls and we can get mcgucket and come back later to see what we should do about this,  ill grab the journals too so we can see if ford has anything we can use"  Giddeon nodded "ok lets go"

When we got back to the cave Willow, Mabel Logan and Mutibear were having a braid train, well Logan was watching and the others were doing the braiding. Giddeon and I stood there watching them. I wasn't all that suprised until I looked over at Willow, I could actually see both of her eyes, it was weird to see both of them and not only one, she looked kind of pretty. I shook that thought off and cleared my throat "you guys ready to go?" mabel smiled as she finished off Willow's hair "we sure are bro bro" Willow stood up and I looked at her "how are you feeling wil?" her eyes widdened at my nickname "much better, thanks for the first aid" I smiled and her brother glared at me over protectivly.  We all said bye to multibear and piled into the golf cart,  I drove with Giddeon sittinf next to me and the others were sitting in the back,  I started the cart and drove off into the forest.

We pulled infront of the manor and got out,  My mind was racing about what I had found.  I turned to the others "we need to have a meeting, right now,  call Wendy and the others tell them its an emergency"  I then walked into the manor to talk to Mcgucket,  It took me awhile but I found him in the kitchen. "Mcgucket we REALLY gotta talk,  Ive called the others but it's an emergency"  His eyes widdend and we went to the dining room that we used as home base.

After awhile everyone was around the table, I stood at the head with my hands resting on the surface. Pacifica was the first to speak up "so like, why are we here dipper?" I sighed "Willow and I went to check out a reported gravity anomaly out by the Multibear's cave, we had some, trouble" I looked at Willow for a moment and then looked at everyone "but we made it and I found something" I took a shakey breath calming myself down "Bill's real body turned into a statue was sitting in a small clearing in the forest behind the cave" the group gasped all except Giddeon. I stood up straight " once we bring it back Giddeon and i are going to run some tests on it using the journals and hopefully, we will be able to figure out why its creating gravity anomallies" the others looked at me silently until grenda stood up "alright lets go get that statue then" I grinned.

~time skip~

It was sunset before we got to the mystery shack. I decided it was best to bring the statue to the area great uncle Ford used to build the portal. thankfully none of the parts were there anymore. we set it down in the middle of the room and sat on the ground breathing heavily. that thing was so heavy. after awhile I stood back up "im going to get something to eat, you guys should too" I walked to the elevator and just as it closed pacifica's hand stopped the door and she stepped in next to me "im going with you, im starving" I smiled, she really has changed over the years its kind of a relief "sure, if you want I can make you something" she nodded "yes please" we went up in the elevator and when we got to the top we took the pathway to the hidden door and stepped through, thankfully there wasnt anyone there and I closed it behind us. Pacifica and I went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

who knew it would be of one of the last normal meals we would have that week.

sorry ive been gone so long i havent had the inspiration to write in awhile but hopefully ill be back more often now.   sorry for the long wait guys and i hope you liked the chapter!!
