Chapter 12

"cmon boys, its time to have some fun."

dipper's pov:

It was amazing, as soon as Willow took down those guards the others swooped in. Wendy was breaking the guards' taser sticks with her axe. Grenda and Soos were swinging and throwing heavy branches and rocks everywhere. Logan ran off to fight back to back with his sister, Gideon had half the guards tied to trees with vines, and candy was over at the computers near the bubble trying to find out as much as she could while Mcgucket was fending off guards with his banjo. Mabel was swinging on her grappling hook from the trees around us kicking guards in the face, she landed next to me and I smiled "where's Pacifica?" Mabel opened her mouth to answer when my question was answered by Pacfica herself. she took down a guard that was running up behind me with a crazy kick to his side. My jaw dropped "Woah Pacifica, where'd you learn that?" she grinned "started taking martial arts after you guys left, i'm a black belt now" I grinned back at her "thanks for that" Mabel took off and I remembered something "Pacifica, your dad he-"

Pacifica sighed "I know, I saw when we got here, I can't believe he's working for Bill, he must have been offered ALOT of money or something"  I switched my golf club to my good hand and pointed to her father who was trying to get away "come on, lets go stop your crazy dad" she nodded and together we ran off into the forest. we weren't far behind when we got to the beach. Pacifica was they first to yell to her father "dad!" Preston who was about to get into a boat turned around to face me and his daughter. "Pacifica my darling daughter, what brings you to this island so late at night?" the blonde next to me scoffed "you know exactly why were here, why are you working for that evil triangle?!"

Preston sighed "Pacifica my dear you have no idea what you are getting into, my-" he paused for a moment "employer, has offered enough money for us to live the way we used to, we can buy our mansion back and our family name will be restored" he held his hand out to Pacifica "join me and together we can be just as we used to" I turned to Pacifica and I could see her debating in her head. "Pacifica, don't, you saw what Bill did last time, if he comes back he could take over the entire world!" the blonde girl looked back and forth between me and her dad, she looked down at the ground and spoke "im sorry dipper." she began to walk towards her dad who chuckled happily. "yes my daughter, you've made the right choice" tears began to form in my eyes "P..Pacifica?"  she looked up at me from next to her father and winked before knocking down her fathers two guards out and grabbing her dad by the collar and flipping him over onto the sand."

I smiled and ran over to her as she had her knee on her father's back. "Pacifica that was incredible!" her cheeks went a little pink but I could tell it was from fighting. I ripped the key from her dad's neck and held it "maybe next time you wont underestimate us Northwest, espically Pacifica" Pacifica smiled and tied her dad up, together we forced him up from the sand and made him walk back towards the camp, when we got there the sun had set, the guards were gone and the others were patching up their scrapes from the fight "guys!" I waved and they all looked up happy to see us, as we got closer we sat Preston in the chair he had chained Gideon to and the chains glowed, wrapping them around Preston himself. I thanked Gideon and walked up to Preston with the others holding up the key "who has the other one Northwest ?" he scoffed "like i would tell a child that information"

I rolled my eyes "im eighteen, technically an adult" I stepped closer "now, where. is. the. other. key?" Preston opened his mouth, probably to give me a snarky comeback when willow walked up to me "you mean this key?" she opened her hand and revealed a golden key with my Grunkle Ford's symbol. I gasped and gently took it from her hand "where did you find this? she pointed to the table with the computer candy was working on. there was a small safe open on the table "it was in that safe, Logan cracked the code and it was inside" Logan nodded and held up three familiar objects "these were in there too"  it was Grunkle Fords six fingered gloves, and Grunkle Stan's bow tie he used to wear all the time. Mabel took them into her hands and held them close.

I sighed "well since we have the keys, we should prepare to go into the bubble." Candy stepped forward with a piece of paper "I found some information you will want to see" she handed me the paper and I read it, it was a short letter to Preston Northwest:

Northwest,

I am so glad you've agreed to work for me. The bubble iv'e left you in charge of is very important to my plan, we must keep the pines twins trapped as long as possible. If we let them out before everything is ready the plan could be ruined. keep the keys in a safe place, ill be in touch soon.

I gasped, Bill really IS behind all of this. He somehow survived Stan's mind erasing and is trying to come back. I passed the note around so everyone could read it, once we were all done reading it we sat in a circle on the ground as Soos made us a camp fire. We were all silent for what seemed like forever. Eventually, I spoke to Pacifica who sat next to me on my right. "Pacifica, im sorry about your dad." she sighed and stared into the fire "It's ok dipper, I just-" she let out another sigh "I really thought my parents had changed, I guess it was silly of me to hope." I put my hand on her shoulder. "It's not your fault, you wanted to see the best in them, It just turns out that they haven't" I removed my hand from her shoulder as I sighed. "lets just, get some sleep" the others nodded and took sleeping bags out of their bags. as we all finally settled down for the night willow spoke.
