Chapter 13

"night guys"

????'s pov:

I walked around the camp as they all slept. I stared down at the pine tree kid, he seemed to be having a nightmare. the rest of them looked very peaceful. I sighed and waved my hand over them, they glowed red with my magic and I knew they wouldn't wake up until morning, well, unless there was a loud noise. I walked over to my, associate, who was sleeping in the chair they chained him to. I kicked him in the shin and he jolted awake "huh? what?-" he looked up at me "o..oh boss, your here" I stared down at him "of course i'm here you idiot" I paused "you let them get the keys, what kind of person keeps the keys in the same location" his eyes widened and he began to talk loudly "i..i'm s-" I cut him off snapping my fingers as his mouth literally zipped up "quiet you fool, or did you want my spell on them to wear off?" I ran a hand through my black hair as he shook his head trying to say something through the zipper that was now his mouth.

I snapped my fingers again and his mouth went back to normal. "Preston" he looked up at me as I smiled, leaning down to his eye level. "you did good" my smile turned to a smirk as I stood up straight. he gave me another confused look "I,  I did ?" I nodded and began to walk slowly in a circle around him, mimicking the way he did it earlier to those boys. "yes you did, our preparations are almost complete, all we need now is for them to rescue the old men in the bubble." I waved my hand and the chains removed themselves from around him. he stood up dusting his suit off and stretching a bit as he smiled at me. "thank you for freeing me."  I smiled up at him placing my hand on his cheek "of course, what kind of person would I be if i didn't help someone so loyal." I patted his face a couple of times a bit harshly and turned around motioning him to follow me with my finger. as we reached the bubble I placed my hand on it gently feeling the magic comming from it.

"so, what now boss?" I thought for a moment,giving him a smile. "we let them save their uncles of course, after that we can continue with phase two." Preston nodded . He may be rich but at least he isn't completely stupid like most rich suckers are. Bill will definitely be pleased with my work. I brushed off my red dress and turned back to Preston. "I'm going to have to chain you back up Northwest." His eyes widened "c..chain me back up ? but why?" I smiled "we can't let them know your working for me just yet, just, play the part of their captive a little longer. He nodded "I understand." I turned towards the sleeping kids "tomorrow is a big day, get some sleep alright?"  I walked him over to the chair and he sat down, I snapped my fingers and the chains wrapped around him just as they were before. I waved my hand over him just as I had with the group and he fell asleep. Tomorrow everything will finally begin for real.

*the next morning, Dipper's pov*

I jolted awake and sat up in my sleeping bag. I had that stupid nightmare about Weirdmageddon again, only this time was different, Bill wasn't in it. Instead all I saw was an outline of a girl standing on top of the same black pyramid Bill used as a castle, my friends laying around me on the ground dead. I tried getting closer to her to see who she was, but all I could see through the fire and smoke was long, black hair. I sighed and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I seemed to be the only one awake yet, the sun was up but our little camp was in the shade. I got up and looked around, the camp was just as it was when we fell asleep, Preston Northwest was chained up still. as I looked around I noticed something weird, and not like Bill weird. There were two sets of footprints in the dirt, they looked to be recent, no more than a few hours.

I heard a groan from behind me as Gideon woke up, he turned to me confused "Dipper? what's goin on?" I waved for him to come over and showed him the prints "someone was here while we were asleep, two people it looks like." The albino sighed "It was probably Bill's goons, we should tell the others when they wake up." I nodded and looked at Northwest. "We should wake him up, try and get more answers out of him." Gideon shook his head "that can wait, for now we should get food for us and the others." I nodded and went over to my bag and got out my phone to call the diner to order us all breakfast. When I finished ordering everyone started waking up. Wendy and Soos volunteered to go get the food and Mabel and Grenda went back to the mansion to pick up the supplies Pacifica got for us.

When they got back we ate and started talking about my plan. Mabel, Gideon, Wendy, Pacifica, Logan and I were the ones to go in. Mcgucket would be going back to the mansion while Willow, Candy, Grenda, and Soos would stay behind outside the bubble to protect it and watch Pacifica's dad. As the six of us got ready to head inside, Willow came up to me looking nervous. "Hey dipper, please look after my brother ok? I know you promised me you would but I want to make sure you keep it." I smiled "Wills, nothing is going to happen to him or us, you just have to trust me" she was silent for a moment before looking me right in the eyes and speaking.

"Ok, I trust you"
