Chapter 9

" we found your uncles"

dipper's pov:

Willow and I stared at eachother and then we all took off running.  When we finally reached the mansion we rushed into the dining room where Mcgucket and the others were waiting, gettinf papers together,  I looked at Wendy who was the closest "you found them? where are they? are we going to get them?"  I was in panic mode. Pacifica walked over to me "Its not that easy Dipper"  she looked down and to the side and immediately, I knew something was wrong. "W..what do you mean it's not that easy?" Pacifica sighed and looked to the others for help " we found where they are, but..."  Wendy spoke up finishing her sentance  "We have no way to get to them"  she put a laptop closer to her and showed me the screen, It was a picture of a bubble of a bubble much like the one Mabel was trapped in Weirdmageddon.  it was red and my uncles symbols from the zodiac were on it, I knew what this meant. "They are literally trapped in their on little world" 

I felt my eyes tear up, thoughts running through my head as I remembered what happened in the bubble my sister was in, we almost didn't make it out alive. who knows what my great uncles are going through.  I sighed and looked up at everyone "where is this?" Candy spoke up from a few feet away "scuttle butt island,  apparently it appeared there sometime last night"  I leaned on the table trying to think of what we could do about the situation.  after a few minutes I finally came up with an idea

"We need to talk to mayor tyler and block off access for the public to the island, for their saftey,  someone  could get hurt. we also need to gather some supplies and get a small team together to go into the bubble once we find a way inside"  I looked around deciding who should go in "Mabel, Wendy, Gideon and I will be the ones to go in, We have the most experience dealing with Bill's magic" I paused "we should wait and study the bubble and the area around it for a while, their could be guards of some kind around it"  everyone nodded and began getting to work to set everything up, I turned to Pacifica "you have the best standing with mayor Tyler,  you should be the one to talk to him about whats going on,  he'll listen to you" she nodded "alright,  but you have to come with me,  your better at explaining whats going on than i am"  I nodded "alright, let me grab a drink and we can head out" I turned to go to the kitchen

When I got there I went to the huge fridge as i was looking for something to drink someone cleared their voice from behind me, it was Logan "hey dipper, can I talk to you?" I grabbed a soda and turned around to face him "yeah sure, what's up?" he looked down nervously "i want to go into the bubble with you guys" I was shocked, why would he want to go in there, I thought for a moment maybe an extra pair of hands would help "alright, you can come with us, but you need to know, it will be dangerous the last time we went into one of those we almost didn't make it out alive" he nodded "I know, but I feel like ive hardly done anything to help you guys, I know im more of a computer geek but-" I cut him off smiling "no dude it's fine, as long as you know what your getting into, but won't your sister want you to stay ?" he nodded "probably, but that doesnt matter, she doesnt have to know" "alright, i wont tell her, but if she finds out don't blame me" he laughed "ok dude" we fist bumped.

~time skip~

Pacifica and I stood infront of city hall, we looked at eachother and headed inside. the secretary looked up from her computer and smiled "ahh miss Northwest, here to see mayor Tyler?" Pacifica smiled "yes we are" the secratary nodded "go on in you two" I smiled at her and we headed inside, once we were there mayor Tyler looked up from his desk and smiled "Pacifica! Dipper Pines! how good to see you !" he stood up and I shook his hand, he sat back down and we sat in the chairs across the desk from him. he kept smiling like always "so what can i do for you two heroes?" Pacifica and I looked at eachother and I cleared my throat "well mayor tyler, we believe that things related to the uhh, incident, five years ago are happening again" his smiled faded into an expression of fear "a..are you sure?" I nodded and took out my phone bringing up the picture of the bubble on the island. his eyes widdened in shock "b..but how?" I put the picture away "we aren't sure, but we plan to figure it out" my leg began to bounce nervously but Pacifica took my hand calming me down enough to continue to talk "we want to ask you to close off public access to Scuttlebutt Island so that my team and I can acess the situation and get rid of the bubble" he thought for a moment, he didnt seem as childish as he used to, his baby face was even gone he was deep in thought "alright, i will close off access to the island, I'll tell sheriff blubs and derland, but dont tell anyone else about the bubble, if we did the town could panic, things are back to normal in our town and we don't need another, incident." Pacifica and I nodded in agreement and turned to leave, as we were walking out of his office door mayor Tyler spoke up "oh and Dipper?" I turned back to face him with a questioning look on my face.
