Chapter 6

"Lets go get our friends back"

dipper's pov:

Its been a week since Willow and Logan joined our team to find our uncles.  we havent gotten any leads so far which is really driving me crazy.   I havent had this much lack of sleep since I was trying to find the password to mcgucket's laptop. I was sitting in my chair in the dining room that were using as our 'home base' when a cup of coffee was set down infront of me,  i looked over and saw blonde. "Pacifica?" the girl giggled and i rubbed my eyes,  it was Willow.  "Man dipper,  you really gotta get more sleep,  your starting to see things,  Pacifica went home for the day"  i yawned and nodded "sorry Will,  I just,  really wanna find my uncles"  she sat next to me and rolled up the sleeves of her black sweater and took my laptop as i took a sip of my coffee.  We sat like this for awhile before the laptop started beeping and willow's eyes widdened "Dipper look!   someone reported a gravity anomally last night in the forest!"   I took the laptop and brought up a police report,   Logan hacked into the files for us so we can keep an eye on weird things that have been reported. "wait a second,  i know that spot,  thats multibear's cave"   Willow looked at me in confusion "what's a multibear?"  I thought for a moment on how to explain it,  before i decided to just show her "grab a bag and ill show you,  i hope he still remembers me"  she nodded and went across the room to grab her backpack as I left a note for the others and together we took off out of the mansion.

We hiked through the forest in mostly silence,  Willow kept staring at everything like she'd never been in the woods before,  i decided to ask her about it to break the akwardness "Willow, how come your lookinrg at everything like it's the first time youve seen the outdoors?"  she turned to me jumping ontop of a fallen log and stood there staring down at me  "Im keeping an eye out for anything weird,   im pretty sure i saw a tiny bearded guy over there" she pointed off to the side somewhere as a gnome ran out of the bushes,  it suprised Willow and she fell off the log. "Willow!!"  I climbed up and over the log and jumped down,  she was laying there on the ground unconcious,  I gently lifted her head up,   she had a bump on the side.  "SOMEBODY HELP MY FRIEND IS HURT!"   I took out my phone to call for help,  no bars of course.   I picked Willow up in my arms and carried her bridal style,  we werent far from mulitbears cave now so hopefully he can help.   I ran through the woods careful not to let Willow get hit by branches as the cave came into view.  I ran inside and called out "multi bear?!?  hello?  are you here?"  the ground shook a little before a tall figure came out of the back of the cave, multibear stood infront of me he was a sight for sore eyes "yes? who's there"  he paused looking me over "dipper?   is that you?"  I smiled a bit and nodded carefully laying Willow down on a pile of leaves "Yeah its me,  look my friend is hurt,  do you have anything that can help?"  he walked back into his cave to look as I checked the bump on Willow's head,  I took a flashlight out of my bag and used it to check her eyes,  it didnt seem like she had any signs of brain damage,  that was good.  I sat her up and took her bag off her back and layed her back down,  i looked into her bag to see if she had any first aid supplies,  there were bandages in there so i took some out and wrapped them around her head carefully as multibear came out of the back with a bag of ice.  I took it from him and layed it on Willow's head.  now that she was in a safe spot a sat with my back against the wall, i took a bottle of waterbout of my bag and began to drink it.  Multibear sat near by and stared at her "so, is this your girlfriend?"  I choked on my water and began to cough.  I soon recovered before i chuckled nervously "n..no,  she isnt my girlfriend,  she's Wendy's cusion,  her and her brother are helping us with a mission"  he nodded,  i finally got a good look at him  his fur had gotten a bit more grey over the years but other than that he looked pretty much the same as I remembered him.

~time skip about an hour~

Multibear and I sat and talked for what seemed like forever,   I was telling him about the college im going to in the fall as I heard a soft groan from next to me,  I looked over and saw Willow was begining to wake up.  I looked down at her "Woah Willow take it easy,  you had a nasty fall"  she nodded and took the ice off her head,  feeling the bandages on her head, she looked at me. "You bandaged my head?"  I nodded,  yeah thankfully you didnt bleed at all but you got a nasty bump" she sat up slowly so I helped her sit up and lean against the wall.  she looked to the side at multibear and jumped back into my arms "w..what the heck is that!"  I tried to calm her down "Willow this is multibear,  he's a friend of mine"   she calmed down a bit and stared at Multibear. "you have so many heads"  she was in awe now and started asking multibear all about himself and his heads,  I took out my phone and walked to the cave entrance,  I had two bars and a few messages from the others, I decided to call mcgucket and tell him what was going on.

I hit the call button on his contact and it rang a few times before someone picked up,  it was Gideon "hello?"   I sighed "hey Gideon, its dipper"  "where are you and willow?   weve been trying to get a hold of yall for awhile now"  i scratched my head and chuckled nervously "yeah,  me and Willow went out to follow a lead in multibear's cave,  i left a note on Mcguckets laptop"  Gideon was quiet for a moment before he spoke i could hear some foot steps  "There isnt a note here dipper,  are you sure you wrote one?"  I was so confused "Im pretty sure i did,  but I am tired so maybe I didn't"  "thats ok,  are yall alright?"  I looked over at Willow who was feeling multibears heads "We had a bit of an accident,  Willow fell off a log and fell unconcious,  but she's awake now"   Gideon gasped when i said she fell and spoke right after me "Your sister and I are on our way,  stay put,  were bringing the golf cart"  he hung up before I could say anything.  I sighed and went back over to Willow and Multibear "Gideon and Mabel are on their way with the golf cart so we wont have to walk back,  are you feeling ok Willow ?"  she nodded "yeah I am,   I don't think ill be  climbing giant fallen logs anymore though"  she laughed,  at least she's ok. I sat back down and we decided to play some cards to pass the time.

We played a few games of war, Willow won most of them and waw cleaning up the cards when I heard the golf cart park outside. Mabel, Gideon and Logan walked in, Well Logan ran in right ro his sister and began to look her over asking her over and over if she was ok, Willow finally got a word in and pushed her brother away "Logan im fine i promise, It was just a little fall, Dipper took really good care of me" he sighed and turned to me "thanks for helping my big sis" I nodded "of course thats what friends are for. Gideon walked up to them "mind if i check her out? ive been doing some first aid training" Willow nodded and Gideo began to doubble check that she was alright and I turned to multibear "so we heard there was a weird grabity anomally here last night ?" he nodded and gestured for me to follow him. We left the cave and went around it to the back and down the hill abit before multibear stopped "its over there" he pointed just passed the bushes infront of me. I nodded and took out my baseball bat from the side of my pack. I pushed the bushes back and stepped through, ready for anything but i was not prepared for what i saw. standing right infront of me was something i thought id never see.
