I showed up at the studio on Monday with a coffee in hand and a beanie over my horrible hair. I stepped out of the car and flinched at the noise.

Why were there so many fans here?

I turned the corner and kept my head down until I heard people calling my name.

"Hi," I smiled, walking over to the gate.

I posed for endless selfies and signed some posters.

"Do you know why everyone's here?" I asked one of the quiet girls at the front.

"I think 5 Seconds of Summer came in early," She shrugged.

"Makes sense," I smirked.

"I like your hat," She said.

"Thanks," I beamed.

"Where'd you get it?"

"Topshop," I smiled.

"Cool," She nodded. "Have a good rehearsal."

"Thank you," I beamed, offering her a hug. She accepted and I waved sadly before running for the doors.

Security followed me inside and locked the door behind me.

I walked down the hallway and said hello to all of the crew. I made a beeline for the dressing rooms and knocked on the 5SOS room twice.

I waited for a few seconds before banging on it again.

"Hello?" I yelled. "Are you guys in here?"

Nothing.

"Hm," I hummed, turning on my heel.

I looked in the kitchen but it was empty so I headed for the lounge. I peeked my head inside.

There was a hooded figure typing on a cell phone.

Had to be Calum.

"Hey," I said happily, poking his shoulder.

He turned to face me and smiled.

"Hey Mads, what are you doing here?"

"I have to do some promo stuff," I shrugged.

"The rest of the lads are on the main stage," He said.

"Why are you out here?"

"I was just texting my mum," He blushed.

"Aw," I cooed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Yeah yeah," He laughed.

"I'll leave you be," I whispered.

I waved goodbye and headed for the stage. I let myself inside and listened to the laughing and swearing.

"You're supposed to be practicing," I yelled, running down the steps.

"You stalking me Collings?" Luke smirked, strumming his guitar while I said hello to the other boys.

"Maybe," I shrugged.

I heard a laugh boom and I didn't recognize it. I turned around to see a blonde quiff covered by a hat much like mine.
